July and August Schedule Tuesday, July 10 Cupcakes and Buttercream Flowers From start to finish bake and ice one dozen cupcakes with Pastry Chef Jeremiah Mesker! This hands-on class will cover every step of croissant making including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking. You will bake beautiful plain, chocolate-filled, and savory ham and cheese croissants. After class, you will have produced a dozen croissants to take home, plus all the recipes used to take home and impress your friends and family. Thursday, July 26 Cinnamon Rolls Your friends and family won't forget waking up to the sweet smells of butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar permeating through the house from your fresh baked cinnamon rolls! Want to know how it is done? Join Chef Chocla Lea in the kitchen to find out! During class you will learn the basic techniques of creating a sweet dough which include mixing, kneading, rolling, handshaping your rolls, and properly proofing. You will also see a demonstration on how to make pecan sticky buns. Wait until you taste these warm treats straight out of the oven! Take home a half dozen big cinnamon rolls that you bake, recipes, and the knowledge to recreate these sweet treats at home.
