The magnificent Grand Ballroom and the Astoria Ballroom are among the most popular reception sites in the Chicagoland area. At Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn, we are continuously enhancing the beauty and sophistication of our banquet space to create an elegant atmosphere. 2 Our Ballrooms The Grand Ballroom requires a minimum of 250 with a maximum of 360 people. This room includes access to our ready room and a beautiful background to frame your head table with lighted white columns. The Astoria Ballroom requires a minimum of 150 people and a maximum of 230. This room includes a beautiful chandelier and hardwood dance floor. The Windsor & Ivy Oak Room are also available with a minimum of 50 people and a maximum of 80 people. Ceremony Our hotel can provide a beautiful room for your ceremony, ask our specialist for options and further information. Menu & Taste Test Taste Test and Menu Selections are suggested no less than three months prior to your reception. In selecting a menu no more than two entrees should be selected for the entire group. All arrangements will be final and are not subject to change. Guarantee The exact number of persons to attend must be specified to the hotel at least seven days in advance. This number, so specified, will be considered definite, not subject to reduction. The hotel cannot be held responsible for providing additional service for more than 5% of the final guarantee. All charges will be based on the guaranteed number or actual number served. Payment An initial deposit of $ is to be made at the time of booking and then 50% of the remaining balance will be due six (6) months out. Final payment will be made no later than five (5) business days in advance of the event and based on the final attendance guarantee, payable by certified or cashier s check. Cancellation If patron cancels reception, the hotel shall retain all deposits. Cancellations must be made to the Catering office in writing.
