11 General Information Taste of the Wild Catering provides excellent service and quality culinary creations. We engage our guests in a socially valuable experience through our partnership with the Sacramento Zoo. We are proud to put our own spin on Sacramento s Farm-to-Fork movement by being Farm-to-Zoo. Taste of the Wild Catering is required with all Zoo rentals. Outside food and drinks are prohibited. Wedding receptions have a $5,000 minimum. Prices listed are subject to proportionate changes in market conditions. Sales tax (8.25%) and an event production fee (21%) will be added to the food and beverage items (not rentals). If catering menu is not finalized at time of booking, a supplemental menu contract detailing all arrangements must be received by the Sacramento Zoo at least 45 days prior to your event. We must be notified of the exact number of guests at least seven business days before the event. All charges will be based on this guarantee or the actual number attending, whichever is greater. Last minute orders are gladly accepted and will be accommodated to the best of our ability, but please note due to the need to expedite staffing, order and preparations, a late fee may be applied. Food and beverage (including alcoholic beverages) may not be taken from the premises by any party other than the catering department. Your rental order, including any tables, chairs, and linens that may be needed to produce your event will be managed by Taste of the Wild and added to your contract. Children under 11 receive a $5 discount off of all buffet packages. Discount will only be applied to the guaranteed guest count.
