2 Event Services Taste of the Wild Catering provides excellent service and quality culinary creations. We engage our guests in a socially valuable experience through our partnership with the El Paso Zoo. Important Information: A signed contract and 25% nonrefundable deposit must be received by Taste of the Wild Catering at least one month prior to the event. The final payment and guest count is due one week before the event. The final guest count is the number used for billing, even if fewer guests attend. Taste of the Wild prepares for a 5 percent guest increase to allow for last minute additions. Additional guests will be billed on the day of the event. An event is considered canceled and services will not be provided if the deposit is not received. If the need to reschedule an event arises, notice must be given one week prior to the event or a 25% cancellation fee will apply. Deposits or payments can be made by company check or credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express are accepted). All food and beverage must be provided by Taste of the Wild Catering, and cannot be removed from the premises by any party other than the catering department. As a guideline, food will be served for 2 hours during the event. Times may vary based on group size. Prices listed are subject to proportionate changes in market conditions. Security fees apply to all after-hours events. Sales tax (8.25%) and a service charge (20%) will be added to food and beverage items. Alcohol requires an additional service fee. The following menus are provided as a guide to help you plan your event. With an Executive Chef on staff, we can help you to create custom menus and will work with you to try and meet any dietary accommodations or special requests. 3 El Paso Zoo Rentals & Services Continental Areas The El Paso Zoo has three continental pavilion areas available for rent. The Zoo separately rents the individual areas. The $500 rental includes 1 hour of animals on exhibit. Area rentals include one animal staff member. The necessity for additional animal staff is $45 for each additional hour. Animal exhibit rentals are only applicable for events after normal business hours for a maximum of a 2 hour viewing period. Animal availability may vary based on weather, daylight and seasonal restrictions. Africa Asia Americas Area Upgrades The El Paso Zoo has various sites and buildings in its different continental areas that may be added to any reservation for enhanced luxury on your Zoo adventure. Each upgrade is $200 for a two hour reservation. 4 El Paso Zoo Rental Services Site Fee The price of food includes the initial site fee. This includes one site which is where your event will be held for a 2 hour period. Additional sites can be added for $200 per site, also for a 2 hour period. Additional time can be added for $100 per hour, per site. Security Security is required for group rentals by El Paso city ordinance. Rental requirements may vary based on times, group size, availability of alcohol and areas rented. Security guards are $22 per hour per guard. Fun Additions Customize your experience with Zoo-per fun activities for your guests. Train Tokens- $1.50 each Wildlife Carousel Tokens- $1.25 each Safari face painting- $ per hour Educational Animal Encounter- $75 per 50 people Decor 6 Foot banquet tables and chairs are provided for up to 100 guests. Tables seat 6-8 guests. Additional table and chair rentals may be required to provide the best experience for your group, depending on your guest count. Additional tables are $8.00 and additional chairs are $0.75 each. Linen, table and chair upgrades are available for an additional price. Please inquire if interested.
