1 Kick Start your Health with Hemp Seeds Your health is your biggest asset and the best way to treat disease is to try our best to prevent it. Our body has an intelligence within that knows how to heal when we create the right environment. The best way to create the right environment is to reduce the toxins we put in and on our body. Through witnessing other people s healing journey and my own personal healing journey with auto-immune disease, I have seen fantastic results for those that make simple diet and lifestyle changes. The change in overall wellbeing and weight loss have been evident in those that consistently consume hemp seeds daily. Many say it feels as though it reboots their system. We encourage you to follow your intuition and start to become aware of how your feeling after you eat particular foods. Tiredness after eating or allergies could be a sign that particular foods could be the cause. This program encourages you to consume a basic plant-based food that supports your body to rest, rejuvenate and restore. We recommend organic fruit, vegetables and salad if possible and encourage you to soak these foods in a kitchen sink with 2 tablespoons of Apple cider vinegar (with the mother) prior to consumption if organic fruit and vegetables is not easily accessible for you. You will need to prepare for your program by making sure you have all ingredients the day before you plan to start. Please ensure you to drink at least 2 litres of water per day. You will be undergoing a dramatic detoxing process while consuming phytonutrients. Consuming more water assists with this detox. We recommend Pureau-- Australia s Purest water (readily available at Woolworths and Coles). Water filters that remove Fluoride or Reverse Osmosis. We do not recommend drinking straight tap water due to its high heavy metals, and Fluoride content. The simplest way to introduce hemp seeds to your diet is to have them daily in a smoothie, salad/vegetable dressing or sprinkle them on top of your meals. Taken regularly, and in adequate quantities hemp seeds can replace many expensive supplements. Daily recommendations for Children aged two-nine 15-30g/day. Teens 3050g/day. Adults 50-75g/day and Elite Athletes as much as 140g/day.
2 One of the benefits of hemp seeds is a feeling that it reboots your system. If sugar cravings arise have a smoothie or a treat from the treat list. And be kind to yourself, you are trying to break through old out dated patterns that no longer serve you. Everything we put in and on our body is either feeding wellness or disease. Nurture yourself through this process knowing that your health is your biggest asset and 1-3 days is no time in the big scheme of things. I like to do the 3day fast if cravings or symptoms of any illness are present. Start your day with brushing teeth upon rising. Toxins accumulate in your mouth while sleeping so consuming food or beverage before brushing teeth puts toxins back into the body. After brushing teeth with natural toothpaste (no fluoride) we recommend a glass of water with a 1/2-1 teaspoon of Himalayan or Tasmanian sea salt preferably followed later in the morning by half a lemon in warm water to support liver while detoxing. We encourage you to eat a plant-based foods ensuring over the week you consume a variety of different coloured fruit, vegetable and salads. If you are showing signs of irritable bowel or acid reflux add apple cider vinegar (with the Mother) to your daily routine. Consume 1 tablespoon of Apple cider in 1 cup of water 3 times a day. Breakfast - Hemp milk smoothie (see hemp seed smoothie recipes below) Morning snack from snack suggestions below (optional) Lunch - Smoothie or rainbow salad or vegetables with hemp seed dressing Afternoon snack from snack suggestions below (optional) Dinner - Hemp milk smoothie (see hemp seed smoothie recipes below) Consume as much raw salad and vegetables as you desire. HEMP MILK SMOOTHIES The base of all smoothies is hemp milk. It is best to blend hemp seeds and water or coconut water first to make fluffy white milk and then blend again after adding additional ingredients. Hemp Milk (Makes one cup) Blend ¼ cup hemp seeds with ¾ cups of good quality water. Golden Milk (Serves 1) 1cup of hemp milk, 1 banana (preferably frozen,) 1/2tbsp organic local honey, 1/2tsp turmeric, 6 peppercorns, 1 tsp chia seed oil (or create your own variation using hemp milk and your choice of fruit and vegetables.) Stir in chia seeds after blending for assistance to remove toxins from body.
3 Mango Tango (great for cancer patients/prevention) 1cup of frozen mango, 2 tablespoons of hemp seeds, 1/2 lime 1 cup of kale, 1/4cups shredded coconut, 1 1/2 cups of coconut water. Digestive smoothie 1cup of hemp milk,1 banana, 2 apricots, ¼ cup pf blueberries, 1 kiwifruit. Wakey Wakey smoothie (serves 2) 1cup of hemp milk, 1 large frozen banana handful of frozen berries, 1 hand full of frozen mango. Energy Smoothie (serves 2) 2 cups of hemp milk made with coconut water, 2 bananas, 3 cups of kale, 1 teaspoon of flaxseed or chia oil, ½ teaspoon manuka honey. Immune boosting smoothie (serves 2) 2 cups of hemp milk made with coconut water, 1 cup of kale, ½ cup baby spinach, 1 kiwifruit peeled, ½ beetroot, 1 apple. Detox Smoothie 1 cup of hemp milk, 1 peeled orange, ¼ peeled lemon, 1 cup of pineapple, ½ stalk of celery, ½ cup broccoli, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Sweet Green Detox Smoothie (Serves 1) 1 cup chilled coconut water, 2 tbsp hemp seeds, 1 ripe pear, 1 tsp spirulina powder, thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, 2 large handfuls of spinach or kale. Combine coconut water pear, hemp seeds, spirulina powder and ginger in a blender. Add the leafy greens and blend again. Blend until smooth. SALAD DRESSINGS Salad Dressing (Makes one cup) 2 tbsp hemp seeds, 30mls flaxseed or olive oil, 1 cloves of garlic, juice of 1 lemon, blend and serve on salads or steamed vegetables. Alternatively, you can add 2 tbsp of hemp seeds to any salad dressing recipe. Raw Vegan Caesar Salad (Serves 4) Dressing: ½ cup raw cashew nuts (soaked overnight) add 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp flaxseed oil (or more olive oil), 2 tbsp hemp seeds, juice from 1 lemon, 2 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 garlic clove, ⅛ tsp salt, ⅛ tsp pepper, 2-3 tbsp water to thin. Blitz in blender or food processor till thin and smooth. Salad Mix kale (or other hardy green; rocket, chard, baby spinach) with dressing and add raw hemp seeds to taste, lemon zest. Serve raw or lightly steamed.
4 SNACK FOOD Spread organic peanut on sliced apple or pears then garnish with hemp seeds. Mash ½ avocado with 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds. Celery, carrot or zucchini sticks with hemp pesto dip. Bliss balls - add one cup of hemp seeds to your favourite bliss ball recipe, use doterra peppermint, lemongrass of orange oils to bliss balls recipe for extra health benefits (store excess bliss balls in freezer) Pumpkin Hemp Pesto-Dip (Serves 8) 4 packed cups of fresh basil, ½ cup pumpkin seeds, ½ cup hemp seeds, ¼ cup olive oil, 1 large garlic clove, 2 tsp lemon juice, ¼ tsp rock salt. Blend ingredients (except the basil) together in food processor until smooth. Keep the processor running and gradually add the basil leaves to the mix. Combine well. Serve with absolutely everything! Store in fridge. Prepacked kaleslaw, or coleslaw from Aldi or local supermarket is a good affordable option for raw vegetable salad. Or make your own rainbow salad and raw food salads. Simply add dressing and enjoy. PLEASE NOTE: It is imperative that you drink at least 2 litres of water each day to assist toxins to be removed from the body and curb cravings. For more recipes visit the link page on our website, for online orders visit our online shop EXTRA INFORMATION Drink a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice daily with 1 teaspoon of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 1-3 times a day added to juice or water, add olive leaf extract to your daily routine if your immune system is jeopardized, eg cold and flu symptoms. The goal would be to increase to consume between 1-5 grms of VitC daily. Hemp seeds and fermented foods work to heal the gut, a tablespoon of kimchi or sauerkraut with lunch will assist with healing the gut and keeping it in balance to better assist with digestion minutes meditation first thing in the morning can make a huge difference to your day and your quality of life. 5 Our body knows how to heal when we create the right environment. The best way to do that is to remove all chemical products from your environment. Stop using chemicals in items such as; All personal care items like soap and shampoo etc. Cleaning products, and artificial perfumes. Pesticides especially Roundup. Food and water. Remove or severely limit processed foods. Soak vegetables in apple cider vinegar and water for at least 10 mins to remove chemicals before using, especially if not using organic produce. Intestimine (BioCeuticals) and pro-biotics and pre-biotics. Please purchase from Health food shop and follow directions on the packaging. Achieving and maintaining your ideal weight is easier when you implement these simple dietary and lifestyle changes.
