1 6th to 15th June Orientation 2016 THE SECRET OF GETTING AHEAD IS GETTING STARTED The RBK International started its session with an orientation for students and parents on the 4 th of June CONTINUITY WITH CHANGE is what the RBK International school has to offer. The Principal Ms. Sagareeka Bhatia conducted the orientation for the primary and secondary section of the International school. The event covered:. Briefing of the rules and regulations of the school..curricular and Co curricular activities.teaching staff Introduction ( primary & secondary) Parent support to the institution was evident in the large attendance. We look forward to a constructive and a fun filled year ahead. 1

5 Creative Talents... Secondary Summer Time Summer time is the holiday time, I cherish the period a lot. The days are long and lazy, The nights are short and hot. The sun is angry, throwing heat everywhere, Birds and animals are thirsty, roaming here and there. Making people uneasy, craving for some shade, At this time I wonder, how many ice cream shops I could raid! Playing football till my feet are sore, Yet I'm not happy, I want to play some more. Kerala is the location s name Where even the angriest Person will tame! There, there is no shy and no shame Visiting that place is like a big fame. It s known as God s own state People there will treat you like you are their own classmate! Never mind if you come soon or late So remember the next summer vacation Kerala is the perfect destination! 7 Creative Talents... Secondary My First Day at School The first day of school was pretty cool, But my entry was something like an alienated fool. No tiredness, there s your flying broom And the classrooms felt like classy hotel rooms. There inside the class a surprise awaited me, Unknown little face and I screamed who is she. There strutted in my old-new friends As if, they re the new fashion trends. It didn t quite seem like a perfect new adventure, Cause we still made fun of the studious first benchers. Everyone hustling and bustling with joy, Be it any girl or be it any boy. Love, care and joy had enchanted the air, The bond the friends make was a nasty snare. Students like us were fooling around, And when the teacher yelled, everyone turned on Studious, numerous, crazies and sillies, But all bloomed like teenaged lilies. The incredible times passed really quick, It seemed like a scandalizing wizardry trick. No sooner we packed up for the day, And it felt like the bewitching dazzles had been lost from the bay. Nonetheless, we had to go home, So that, we could again enter the school like a sneaky, puny gnome! Ms. Dishantika Puri Grade 9 A 7
