4 VECCHIA ROMAGNA Italy Distilled from the Trebbiano grape; the secrets of distilling this brandy were closely guarded by the descendants of the Medicis until they were passed on to the master distiller, the French Jean Bouton, whose family formed the fir t great Italian distilling company in Today it is part of the Leading Italian independent spirits Company, having in its portfolio v and Amaro Montenegro: the two largest selling spirits in Italy. Vecchia Romagna is closely linked to the Italian way of life, to its sun, and the unique cultural heritage, presented from the outset of its highly original bottle and the label depicting the Roman god, Baccus.

A long ageing process, partly in small oak casks, and a skilful ingredient mix give it a distinct, dry taste, an aromatic, complex bouquet and a warm and intense colour. This brandy is known and appreciated the world over for its fine qualit and characteristic triangular bottle. 6 THE LONDON GIN COMPANY UK The London No.1 is produced in the purest, most traditional style, using the highest quality English grain spirit from Suffolk and Norfolk and the purest spring water found in the north of London. It is then Triple Distilled under the expert direction of MASTER DISTILLER, CHARLES MAXWELL. The London No.1 presents itself in a luminous, pale yet bright bluish aquamarine colour. The nose reveals delightful scents of juniper berries and balsamic aromas. The alcohol is well integrated, elegant and clean. A delicate palate with some viscosity, and a fine dry mouth feel. 8 GIN THE LONDON NO. 1" Blue Gin TASTING NOTE The highest quality Suffolk and Norfolk grain is used in distillation and the small batch pot still method ensures a consistent quality. Finally, the inclusion of 12 carefully selected botanicals makes The London No. 1 a gin to be savored. In line with the classic gins of yesteryear, juniper, coriander and angelica feature in the recipe the first two botanicals imparting fragrance and spiciness whilst angelica, together with orris root, give body and structure to the other botanicals. A zesty freshness comes from liquorice root. The London No. 1 is unique in that it also has a final fusion of be gamot oil in the mix that instantly recognisable perfumed aroma in Earl Grey tea. Its citric qualities marry beautifully with the fellow fresh juicy fl vours of orange and lemon peel, whilst the bergamot also reinforces the holding role of orris root. These are perfectly offse with the thyme-like aromatics of savory, whilst the sweet, spicy notes of cinnamon and cassia bark complete the recipe. 146

9 ROBY MARTON GIN Roby Marton is the only Italian Dry Gin. Born from the idea eponymous creato, this gin is the Italian representation of the classic English spirit. Roby Marton is made using cold infusion as the oldest method. A few steps from Bassano del Grappa, the undisputed kingdom of distillers, Roby Marton, a Venetian DOC in his fifties, who has always been an expert in the sector of spirits, handmade produces his Gin in Italian key taking care of all the production phases. Nothing is left to chance in the choice of cereals and botanicals, carefully selected and chosen according to availability only of excellent products for distillation by the method of so-called "Bathtub".

10 ROBY MARTON GIN Unique Small Batch DESCRIPTION "Cold Compounded" Italian Premium Dry Gin. Infusion of an unusual bouquet of 11 classic and exotic botanicals in pure neutral grain pot stilled alcohol. To maintain the whole scent of the infused botanicals unaltered, the spirit is not filtered before being gently finished with pure spring water. Roby Marton is a divinely smooth Gin, produced in small batch. COLOUR Pale yellow. AROMA The nose is both spicy and citric, with a nice balance of juniper berries, citrus peels, orange peels, cinnamon, cloves, pimento, anise seeds, pink pepper, horseradish, ginger, licorice root. PALATE The palate is dry with an uncommon and persisting exotic spicy flavour bestowed by ginger and pink pepper. Finishes dry with a citrus back. 148

13 GRAPPA Italy There is a legend that tells of a Roman soldier who fir t distilled grappa in the northern Italian town of Bassano del Grappa using distilling equipment stolen in Egypt, however, the story cannot be considered reliable as such equipment could not produce grappa. Distillation useful for producing beverages was not discovered until the eighth century, and it likely took about two more centuries for the technology to travel from its home in the Levant and Persia to Italy (likely by route of the Crusades). Around 1600 AD, the Jesuits in Spain, Italy and Germany studied and codified the techniques used to produce brandy or grappa, and their methods were used until recent times. The Museum of Wine and Grappa shows historical equipment used in the early years of grappa distillation.

Intense, rich palate, well balanced yet complex and deep. Lasting and pleasant aftertaste. Our water is extracted from a 1000 feet artesian well in Siberia. It gives the vodka rounded velvety mouth feel, combined with natural honey, oatmeal infusion, Silybum marianum extract and vanillin make the taste rich, complete and superb. Dual filtration through quartz sand, then triple filtration through the silver enriched charcoal filter. The so called period of rest that lasts for 30 days is the final stage of Beluga Noble Russian Vodka production. This is an exclusive stage not applied to the production of ordinary vodkas. 155

21 NOMAD WHISKY Jerez, Spain Nomad, the first Outland Whisky on the market. A premium blended whisky produced from a unique selection of over 30 different malt and grain whiskies from Speyside, The Higlands, Scotland, each 5 to 8 years old. The resulting blend is left to mature in Scotland in sherry casks for 3 years, altogether, before being transferred to Jerez where it will be finished for a mínimum of 12 months in old Pedro Ximenez casks in the San Fernando cellar of González Byass. This outland whisky matures in the unique micro-climate of Jerez, subject to the different changes in temperature, the winds and the humidity of the Andalusian city close to the sea. NOMAD, over time, will absorb the native yeasts which are present in the atmosphere of the cellar, and it will be imbued with the tastes and flavours of the old Pedro Ximenez casks, previously used to age sherry, giving the whisky its unique character.

22 SHERRY CASK COLOUR Bright amber in colour. AROMA Nomad shows a concentrated aroma with notes of malt, wood and the unmistakable hint of Pedro Ximenez Sherry. PALATE On the palate it is very smooth and elegant, initial flavours of raisins and honey build to a long and pleasant finish with notes of vanilla and dried fruits. A very elegant yet complex whisky. GONZALEZ BYASS BREAKS THE RULES OF WHISKY. NOMAD is one of the most innovative whiskies currently on the market. The majority of malt whiskies are finished in sherry casks that have been sent to Scotland from Jerez. NOMAD is the first whisky in the world to be finished in the González Byass cellars in Jerez de la Frontera, following a prior ageing in Scotland, breaking the unwritten rules of whisky.
