A long ageing process, partly in small oak casks, and a skilful ingredient mix give it a distinct, dry taste, an aromatic, complex bouquet and a warm and intense colour. This brandy is known and appreciated the world over for its fine quality and characteristic triangular bottle. Light to medium golden amber in colour, ripe banana and pear aromas with vanilla and caramel notes; medium bodied with a warm and spicy finish. 4 THE LONDON GIN COMPANY UK The London No.1 is produced in the purest, most traditional style, using the highest quality English grain spirit from Suffolk and Norfolk and the purest spring water found in the north of London. It is then Triple Distilled under the expert direction of MASTER DISTILLER, CHARLES MAXWELL. The London No.1 presents itself in a luminous, pale yet bright bluish aquamarine colour. The nose reveals delightful scents of juniper berries and balsamic aromas. The alcohol is well integrated, elegant and clean. A delicate palate with some viscosity, and a fine dry mouth feel. Finally, the inclusion of 12 carefully selected botanicals makes The London No. 1 a gin to be savored. In line with the classic gins of yesteryear, juniper, coriander and angelica feature in the recipe the first two botanicals imparting fragrance and spiciness whilst angelica, together with orris root, give body and structure to the other botanicals. A zesty freshness comes from liquorice root. The London No. 1 is unique in that it also has a final fusion of bergamot oil in the mix that instantly recognisable perfumed aroma in Earl Grey tea. Its citric qualities marry beautifully with the fellow fresh juicy flavours of orange and lemon peel, whilst the bergamot also reinforces the holding role of orris root. These are perfectly offset with the thyme-like aromatics of savory, whilst the sweet, spicy notes of cinnamon and cassia bark complete the recipe. 144

Roby Marton is made using cold infusion as the oldest method. A few steps from Bassano del Grappa, the undisputed kingdom of distillers, Roby Marton, a Venetian DOC in his fifties, who has always been an expert in the sector of spirits, handmade produces his Gin in Italian key taking care of all the production phases. Nothing is left to chance in the choice of cereals and botanicals, carefully selected and chosen according to availability only of excellent products for distillation by the method of so-called "Bathtub".

Infusion of an unusual bouquet of 11 classic and exotic botanicals in pure neutral grain pot stilled alcohol. Distillation useful for producing beverages was not discovered until the eighth century, and it likely took about two more centuries for the technology to travel from its home in the Levant and Persia to Italy (likely by route of the Crusades). Around 1600 AD, the Jesuits in Spain, Italy and Germany studied and codified the techniques used to produce brandy or grappa, and their methods were used until recent times. The Museum of Wine and Grappa shows historical equipment used in the early years of grappa distillation.

15 NOMAD WHISKY Jerez, Spain Nomad, the first Outland Whisky on the market. A premium blended whisky produced from a unique selection of over 30 different malt and grain whiskies from Speyside, The Higlands, Scotland, each 5 to 8 years old. The resulting blend is left to mature in Scotland in sherry casks for 3 years, altogether, before being transferred to Jerez where it will be finished for a mínimum of 12 months in old Pedro Ximenez casks in the San Fernando cellar of González Byass. This outland whisky matures in the unique micro-climate of Jerez, subject to the different changes in temperature, the winds and the humidity of the Andalusian city close to the sea. NOMAD, over time, will absorb the native yeasts which are present in the atmosphere of the cellar, and it will be imbued with the tastes and flavours of the old Pedro Ximenez casks, previously used to age sherry, giving the whisky its unique character.
