2 Simon Fairclough, Managing Director, Glenshee Craft Distillers, Persie Distillery BANCON HOMES GIN WELCOME TO BANCON GIN We are delighted to unveil Bancon Homes very own limited edition, bespoke gin. The Bancon Gin is a classic London Dry gin with a blend of botanicals including cassia, cinnamon, Macedonian juniper berries and cardamom, to give a fresh flavour with top notes of warming spice. We hope you enjoy this unique gift.

3 The idea for a unique Bancon Gin was sparked after Bancon Homes sponsored the gin tent at last year s Banchory Beer Festival, which was organised by local brothers Guy and Mungo Finlayson. The company then commissioned Simon Fairclough, Head Distiller at Persie Gin in Perthshire, to develop an exclusive gin recipe. I felt it was important for this bespoke gin to reflect the Bancon Homes ethos, explained Simon. In a nutshell, we wanted a high quality spirit to be enjoyed by discerning customers. The result is a classic juniperforward gin with a soft, round mouthfeel and spicy top notes to give it a little more complexity.

4 The Bancon Gin has been handmade using the London Dry process, which is the purest method of gin distillation. Once the spirit comes off the still, only water is added from Persie Distillery s private supply of natural water from the local hills. The gin is warming on the palate, with delicate notes of cassia, cinnamon and cardamom, added Simon. This complements the fresh, piny juniper to create a perfectly balanced spirit. A total of cl bottles have been produced as gifts for buyers who move into a Bancon Homes property across the North-east.

5 TASTING NOTES On the nose: This gin is minty fresh with top notes of spice to round it out nicely. Plenty of juniper and big wafts of forest air on the nose. On the palate: Soft and warming on the palate, with a very yummy hint of ice cream right on the finish.
