6 Grapes Cinzano Prosecco In the early decades of the 19th century, after formulating the Cinzano Vermouth that they are so famous for, the Cinzano heirs continued their work with inspiring innovation. They achieved such great commercial success that they were asked by the Savoy monarchs to offer their expertise to produce Italy s first Sparkling Wine, upon success of the incredibly popular French champagne that dominated the wine export market across the globe. The result: the birth of the Cinzano sparkling wines. Cinzano Prosecco D.O.C. is fresh, fizzy and fruity, with mostly apple and pear-ish flavours. 7 Artichoke Cynar Cynar is an artichoke based bittersweet liqueur known for its versatility and distinctive flavour; its taste is enriched by an infusion of 13 herbs and plants. The name of the drink derives from Cynar Scolymus, the botanical name for artichoke, as artichoke leaves lend the distinctive flavour. The secret recipe, which has remained the same since its creation, is based on some of the natural substances found in the artichokes, including cynarine. Cynar Julep In a Julep tin gently muddle mint leaves, 15ml sugar syrup and a dash of lemon juice. Fill the tin with crushed ice, add 50ml Cynar and top with grapefruit juice.
