1 1 ENOLOGICA 2018 DINING WITH SAGRANTINO Enologica Montefalco, the most important event dedicated to the Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG wine, organized by the Consortium for the Protection of Montefalco Wines, the Municipality of Montefalco and the Association Sagrantino Wine Route, returns from the 14th to 16th of September The theme of the 2018 Edition "At the table with Sagrantino", is connected to the Year of Italian Food, and focuses on the fascinating world of food. The manifestation offers to the visitors an intriguing and varied programme, with the purpose to give an unforgettable journey through the food and the wine excellences of this territory. Three days of wine tastings between the wine tasting tables of 28 local wineries, guided tastings, cooking shows, tastings of local products, special workshops for children and their families to know closer some of the typical dishes of the Umbrian tradition. Moreover, meetings focused on the food-wine pairing, as well as art exhibitions, concerts, conferences, debates and guided tours to discover Montefalco and the most significant sights of the area. Furthermore, many the events and the tastings organized by the wine cellars which take part in Enologica Some restaurants offer the opportunity to taste special dishes in which the main ingredient is the Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG.
