1 THE DINING ROOM WINE LIST CABLE BAY WHITES Glass Cable Bay Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2016, Marlborough An elegant example of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from our Awatere Valley vineyard. Lemon zest and lime blossom, guava and almond aromas mingle on the nose. It has a fresh, invigorated palate with incredible focus and a dry finish. Expressive of the unique Awatere Valley region, this wine is delicate and complex, with incredible minerality. Cable Bay Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2015, Marlborough Pistachio, mandarin blossom, toasted coriander seed, flinty struck match and guava aromas all come together in a striking fusion. The palate has lovely toasty black bone surrounded by fine structure, zesty acidity and nice fruit weight through the mid-palate. The finish goes on and on for miles, I can still taste it now; 10 minutes after tasting. Cable Bay Awatere Valley Pinot Gris 2016, Marlborough Arriving from Marlborough s Awatere Valley, this wine exhibits an incredible bouquet of nectarine, roasted almonds, jasmine and citrus aromas.the palate is luscious, balanced and long, with lovely mineral acidity and great length Cable Bay Pinot Gris 2017,, Waiheke Island The season brought very low yields, which has resulted in a wine full in flavour and diversity. Crzstallised ginger, kaffir lime and poached pear vome together ro form a delightful nose. The palate is light on its feet, mineral and long, outlined with lovely fruit sweetness which creates great overall balance. Cable Bay Awatere Valley Chardonnay 2015, Marlborough This wine exhibits an incredible bouquet of nectarine, orange blossom, lemon cake and macadamia, with little hints of basil adorning the nose. The palate has a stony minerality that is found in all our whites from this vineyard. It is deeply refreshing with lovely texture and great complexity. The flavours resonate and linger on the finish for an age; delicious. Cable Bay Chardonnay 2015, Waiheke Island 100 This wine is a stand out from the fantastic 2015 vintage. Almond, blood orange, and white peach embellishes the nose. The wine was matured on yeast lees in barrel for twelve months, which has created incredible depth and texture. The final blend was a selection from six individual batches, and is proudly expressive of the site upon which it was grown. A memorable wine; we are very proud of it. Cable Bay Chardonnay 2016,, Waiheke Island A stylistic departure from your traditional Waiheke Chardonnay. Brioche, lemon blossom, stewed peach and struck match type flintiness embellishes the nose. Delicate and juicy acidity forms the building blocks of a charming palate. There is great phenolic texture with a creamy mid-palate which gives the wine incredible length and persistence.

2 CABLE BAY WHITES Glass Cable Bay Reserve Chardonnay 2015,, Waiheke Island A rich and weighty Chardonnay. It was matured on the yeast lees in barrel for 12 months, which has given this wine its extraordinary texture. The wild yeast fermentation has created complexity and lifted aromatics, backed up with nice fruit concentration and oak integration. The final reserve blend only made up one barrel worth of special wine. Cable Bay Viognier 2017, Waiheke Island Apricot, golden kiwi, coconut and elderflower aromatics combine to form a rich, delightful nose. The use of French Acacia and Oak barrels, coupled with ageing on yeast lees, has imparted an extra dimension to the flavour profile of this wine; lovely texture with spicy complexity, juicy fruit and balancing acidity. Grape skin contact before pressing has created its heartening phenolic structure. CABLE BAY ROSÉ Cable Bay Awatere Valley Pinot Rosé 2017, Marlborough Vibrant, floral, light-footed and generous in its approach. Red peach, juicy watermelon, rosemary flower and golden raspberry characters adorn the nose. The palate is delicately structured, yet mouthfilling, with vibrancy, wonderful balance and a refreshing dry finish. CABLE BAY REDS Cable Bay Pinot Noir 2014, Marlborough Magnum 1.5L 170 Rose, Campari, cherry and redcurrant characters adorn the nose. The palate is vibrant, light on its feet with wonderful balance and a distinguished tannin structure. A gem from a fantastic vintage for the Awatere Valley. Cable Bay Pinot Noir 2016, Awatere e Valley Magnum 1.5L 195 Aromas of red cherries, rose petal and sage integrate with underlying earthy tones.the site where this Pinot is grown is expressed wonderfully, especially on the palate, a delicate minerally texture has ensued from the riverstone built soils. Cable Bay Five Hills Malbec Merlot 2015, Waiheke Island Magnum 1.5L 225 Rich plum pudding, blackberry, cedar and dark cherry aromas wholeheartedly fill the nose. This is a powerful, complex beauty. The palate is rich, with great tannin structure and a marvellous juiciness which persists through to a lengthy and nourishing finish.

3 Glass Cable Bay Five Hills Malbec 2016, Waiheke Island Magnum 1.5L 210 Hints of violet, anise and chocolate combine with aromas of garden herbs and brambly fruit to create a prolific statement. This is a powerful, complex beauty. The palate is rich, with solid tannin structure and an insane juiciness which persists through to a lengthy and nourishing finish. A good-looking, yet hard-hitting gangster in paradise. Cable Bay Syrah 2016, Waiheke Island Boysenberry, red plum, cracked pepper with hints of cocoa. The palate is full bodied, with juicy fruit and spice paving the way to great mouthfeel and sculpted tannin structure. It has great integration, even in its infancy, it s harmonious, the length prodigious. Go Waiheke Syrah, you beauty. Cable Bay Reserve Syrah 2015, Waiheke Island A beautiful and elegant wine with fresh aromas of blackcurrant and boysenberry fruits supported by hints of chocolate, vanilla, sage and toasted spices. The palate is savoury and mouthfilling black cherries and a subtle earthiness blend seamlessly with soft leathery tannins. Sumptuous sums up the vintage pretty well, certainly the best out of the decade for reds. CABLE BAY SWEET WINE (375mL) Cable Bay Sweet Gloria Late Harvest Viognier 2014, Waiheke Island The beautiful deep colour of this wine couples with an amazing aroma of candied rind, juicy apricots and jasmine. On the palate the wine is rich, yet surprisingly light on its feet, with a real undertone reminiscent of butter and marmalade on toast in the morning.
