The Queens Hotel absorbed Markwell s in 1908, creating the building you see today. The Queens Hotel is a wonderful place to start your married life.

The suite has it s own bar and dance fl oor, and while the suite has been tastefully decorated, it deliberately offers quite a blank canvas.

It occupies the former site of the most remarkable bathing establishment of all Mohamed s Vapour Baths! These opened in 1786 and catered for the fashionable set that spent their time in the highly scented steam baths. The bathing establishment was later demolished and replaced in the late 1870 s by Markwell s seaside hotel. Its neighbour, built in 1846, was the Queens Hotel. The Queens Hotel absorbed Markwell s in 1908, creating the building you see today. The Queens Hotel is a wonderful place to start your married life. The moment you walk into the hotel you will be impressed by the style, décor and air of calm professionalism, which tells you this is no ordinary hotel. Being s largest independent hotel also helps, meaning we can offer you a truly fl exible service without having to work to set menu s and packages. It s your day, why should we tell you what you can and can t have. This suite is located on the lower ground fl oor and is very popular for wedding receptions. The suite has it s own bar and dance fl oor, and while the suite has been tastefully decorated, it deliberately offers quite a blank canvas. This enables you to add your own fi nishing touches and to personalise it to your needs and requirements, thereby creating an atmosphere which is as formal or relaxed as you wish. As you celebrate in our beautiful Sandringham Suite, you will be impressed by the care and attention of our staff and the excellence of our food and drinks. We have a dedicated team ready and willing to make your event a success. In order to make life easier, we offer several options as a guide which are listed overleaf. However we pride ourselves on our ability to be completely fl exible and we are happy to organise a bespoke package just for you. A choice of any wine on our wine list during the wedding breakfast, with Laurent-Perrier Cuvee rose served again at the toast Room Hire Charge Sandringham Suite Hire Accommodation Charges The Queens hotel has a wide range of bedrooms and suites available and we offer those attending weddings a 10% discount off the normal rate. The hotel supplies red carpet on arrival, use of silver cake knife, name cards, production of table plan and highchairs on a complementary basis.
