4 DRINKS PACKAGES SILVER DRINKS PACKAGE $38 P/P FOR 3 HOURS Four house wines including a sparkling white, white and red, two beers with a light option, still and sparkling water, soft drink and juice. Typically the choices would be: Primo Secco or Katnook Sparkling House White (currently El Desperado Pinot Grigio) or Mars Needs Moscato House Red (currently Lindsay Selector) One other red (priced at $55 or less on our wine list, say for example the El Desperado Pinot Noir or the Farmer s Leap Cabernet Sauvignon) Two beers (charged at up to $9 each on our menu, typically Cascade Premium Light and either Coopers Pale Ale or Heineken) Soft drinks, still and sparkling water GOLD DRINKS PACKAGE $50 P/P FOR 3 HOURS As with the Silver package except you can: Select from any of our more expensive beer options Upgrade any two wine selections to a value of up to $74/bottle from our wine list PLATINUM DRINKS PACKAGE $65 P/P FOR 3 HOURS As with the Silver package except you can: Select from any of our more expensive beer options One of any sparkling and one of any white can be chosen up to a value of $74 per bottle from our wine list Select up to 3 reds to a maximum value of $90 per bottle from our wine list BY CONSUMPTION PACKAGE Let us know a range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks in advance and we ll stock a private bar for your function and run that on a by consumption basis. You can let us know your approximate limit and we will do our best to cut off the tab at as close to that limit as possible. By consumption packages have a minimum bar tab requirement of at least $25 per adult attending. BYO AND KIDS OPTIONS If you want to bring your own wines and have us supply corkage, sparkling/still water and soft-drinks then we can do this for $18 per person. Beers, spirits and anything not included will be charged on a by consumption basis. Alternatively if you want to bring a few special bottles only, you can elect to have one of our drinks packages and then bring anything you want in on top of that without any corkage fees. Anyone under 18 attending a function at Cos will get sparkling/still water and soft-drinks at a cost of $5 per person.

6 18 LEIGH PTY LTD FUNCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS Effective from August 2018 FUNCTION SPACES AVAILABLE Cos has the upstairs function space which can accommodate up to 70 seated or 110 standing/cocktail. The courtyard can accommodate 40 seated or 50 standing/cocktail. The standing/ cocktail numbers are licensing limits and cannot be exceeded. Under certain circumstances we are able to close the restaurant to the public with sufficient notice and this opens up other areas where functions can be held. The Functions Coordinator can assist with any enquiries about a functions space. Function spaces are available from 12:00pm until 4:30pm for lunch functions and from 6:00pm until 11:30pm for dinner functions. Cos is licensed to trade later on some nights and we are able to extend these times in those cases by negotiation however extra fees will apply. A detailed breakdown of all fees, charges and minimum spends can be found at the end of these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). No other discounts, offers, promotions or special priced menus apply to functions or private business meetings held at Cos. All fees are quoted inclusive of GST. PRIVATE BUSINESS MEETINGS A Cos private space can be used Monday to Thursday at lunchtime during most of the year as a private meeting room under these special terms. No minimum spend is required, however a hire fee of $350 applies and this includes up to 4 hours usage of the space during open hours and use of a data projector if required. Meetings can accommodate up to 15 people and will be catered for from our standard a la carte menu only. Coffee, tea, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available on consumption pricing. We will not assign dedicated staffing to the meeting but we will check in with you at pre-determined times to take orders. BOOKING DATES AND DEPOSITS Cos requires a $30 per person non-refundable deposit to secure a function space on a given date/time. These are locked in for the first customer that pays their deposit. Deposits may be made by credit card or bank deposit, however regardless of which method of payment is used, you grant Cos a standing authority against the credit card details provided to cover any charges or incidentals not paid for on the night. HIRE FEE, MINIMUM SPEND All function spaces have a hire fee which is waived if a minimum spend is reached. The minimum spend depends on which function space and whether the function is in a peak period or not. NUMBER OF ATTENDEES, LATE CHANGES When making a booking, you must tell us the approximate number of attendees. If this number goes down more than 7 days before the event, the full $30 deposit for those attendees is forfeited. If the number decreases with less than 7 days notice (including no-shows on the night), the entire fee payable for those attendees will be payable because Cos will have incurred costs by ordering supplies and rostering staff. If the final number is more than the booking estimate then we are not able to guarantee that we can accommodate the additional guests. If we are notified of additional guests less than 7 days before the event and we are able to accommodate them, a surcharge will apply. Additional guests may not have access to the same menu and we may not be able to accommodate special dietary needs at late notice. STANDARD FUNCTION PACKAGES, MINIMUM COSTS, EXTRAS Cos offers several standard function packages such as canapés, two or three course sit-down meals and a range of drinks packages. These are described in our Functions Package document. We are happy to discuss customising your event however there are minimum per-person and per-event costs and changes from standard packages will incur costs. PAYMENT TERMS Cos may allow functions for regular customers on invoice and this may be subject to special terms, including a larger deposit being payable up-front. Any such agreements must be made well in advance and in writing. In all other cases, the balance on any function (less the deposit) is payable before you leave the venue on the night of the function. Payments must be made using credit card or cash. We do not separate accounts or accept personal cheques. Cos may not have calculated incidentals at this stage and reserves its rights to charge the supplied credit card at a later stage when incidentals are calculated. Should any issue prevent you from settling your account on the night of the function, and without limiting Cos other legal options, Cos will charge a daily fee for any late payments. Cos may require an organiser/host to provide identification either when booking a function or on the night if full payment is not being settled. No discounts will be applied to an account by negotiation on the night of the function. Any discounts offered must be in writing at the time of confirmation to be valid. Any discounts offered will be forfeited if the conditions of offering that discount are not met. Discounts are subject to any minimum spend requirement being achieved. TABLE PLANS, RUN SHEETS, MENU SELECTIONS, AV EQUIPMENT NEEDS ETC Unless you have chosen to leave the menu selections to us, you must confirm menu choices and notify us of any special dietary requirements (both health and cultural) at least 10 days prior to the function date. Please ensure you have confirmed table plans, run sheets, AV/equipment requirements and drinks selections with the Functions Coordinator at the same time. Cos reserves the right to make decisions about your function including menu items, drinks included within your drinks package, table plans etc if we do not receive information from you as required. AVAILABILITY OF MENU AND DRINKS CHOICES Cos will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your menu and drinks choices however if any required stock becomes unavailable or changes in price substantially then we reserve our right to make substitutions. Cos will notify you of any such substitutions and reasonably consult with you on acceptable alternatives. Functions booked with less than 10 days notice will be on a best endeavours basis only and we may need to direct some aspects of the menu, drinks and setup in order to ensure the function can be accommodated. Where function menu items are not on our main restaurant menu, we may have to order in special ingredients. We will order in enough to accommodate a reasonable estimate of the proportion of your guests that we believe might order that item. We do not guarantee that all guests will get the food of their choice if the menu options you choose are selected disproportionately by your guests. You are free to indicate likely guest ordering or collect your guests pre-order with plenty of notice before the function if you have any concerns about availability of particular dishes. SUPPLY OF FOOD AND DRINKS Cos reserves its right to be the sole supplier of food and drinks at our venue. No food or beverages may be brought onto the premises without the prior approval of the Functions Coordinator. Where we do allow wine to be brought into a function, you may either bring all wine and pay a fixed fee per person for corkage and the provision of water and soft drinks, or you may pay for a drinks package and bring a few special bottles on top of that at no additional cost. Cos does allow traditional cakes to be brought in for celebration events. We do not allow ice-cream cakes or anything else that is not a real cake. A cakeage fee per person will apply and our kitchen will cut the cake, add berries or cream to your liking and our wait-staff will then serve the cake to your guests according to the run sheet. 7 DELIVERY OF EQUIPMENT, SETUP AND COLLECTION All deliveries to Cos need to be made by prior arrangement with the Functions Coordinator. Deliveries should be made no earlier than the day before the event. Deliveries must be made between 10:00am and 12:00pm or 3:00pm and 6:00pm so as not to disrupt service. Deliveries should be clearly marked with the name and date of the function and a contact phone number. All goods are to be collected the following working day after 10:00am by negotiation with the Functions Coordinator. Cos accepts no responsibility for goods left unsupervised on the premises under any circumstances. Please note Cos is not open during the day on Saturday, all day Sundays or public holidays. SECURITY, OTHER HIRE EXPENSES Cos may require certain types of functions to have security present. This includes any functions where the majority of guests are 21 or younger (and drinking) or wherever required to fulfil liquor licensing conditions. We will advise of the costs to hire security personnel and these costs are passed on to the organiser. Cos is able to help organise other aspects of your function such as floral arrangements, a band/dj, specific furniture or lighting setups, AV equipment, a projector etc. Ask our Functions Coordinator for more details. Fees will apply. When booking a function in the courtyard, we do not guarantee weather conditions and the courtyard is not weatherproof. We do not refund deposits or accept re-bookings due to inclement weather. We are happy to supply gas heaters for warmth in winter but we advise you to be prepared to hire a marquee if the long-range weather forecast predicts rain. We are happy to contribute $150 towards the hire in the event that this is required. EXCESSIVE SETUP, STAFF TIME, BREAKAGES, CLEANING Our functions are costed based on responding to your initial enquiry, meeting to show the function spaces and discuss options, a few s back and forth to lock in selections, and the setup, pack-down and cleaning after a standard function/table layout. Our Functions Coordinator is more than happy to provide additional assistance with your event such as organising other furniture/hire equipment, a band/dj, designing and setting up unusual table or room layouts, customising the menu or sourcing drinks that are not on our wine list. There will be a small fee for this additional work done on your behalf. Any third-party hire or expenses will be invoiced directly to you by the third-party where possible. Where this is not possible, we may pay these expenses for you and they will be on-charged as part of the function account with a handling fee added on top. The hirer will be charged for any breakages, damage or loss to furniture, glasses, china and cutlery. General cleaning is included in the cost of the function. If cleaning requirements following your function are judged to be excessive, additional cleaning charges will apply. Confetti, sticking things to walls (except in ways approved by the Functions Coordinator), moving furniture around outside what is agreed in the table plan or blocking exits are not permitted. CLOSURE OF FUNCTION Service of alcohol will stop 15 minutes before the schedule closure time of a function and guests will be asked to begin vacating shortly thereafter unless the organiser has requested extended hours (and this has been accepted prior by the Functions Coordinator or is approved by Cos staff on the night). Cos reserves its rights to refuse service to anyone who is intoxicated or to remove any function guests who are behaving inappropriately in the venue. We take our responsible service of alcohol obligations seriously. If a function is overall too rowdy, intoxicated, noisy or inconsiderate to other restaurant patrons or being in any way rude or inappropriate to our staff we will shut the function down immediately. No refunds will apply.
