PTO MONTHLY DONATION DRIVE Each month the PTO will be reaching out to the community asking for donations for specific items needed for our SRES students. 3 GR. 5-6 SHOW CHOIR Any fifth and sixth grade girl or boy who likes to sing, dance, and perform should sign up for show choir. Students will practice most Thursdays after school until 4:00 PM. The practice schedule will be sent home. The show choir will perform the National Anthem at two Varsity basketball games and will sing and dance at the SRES Spring band concert. The cost to participate will be the price of a t-shirt to wear to performances. No money is due at this time. Practices are as follows: November 15, & 29, and December 6. Students must be picked up promptly at 4:00 PM. GIRL SCOUTS OF CENTRAL INDIANA Girl Scouts of Central Indiana has a six week program with meetings located in the art room of South Ripley Elementary. The first meeting will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, from 3:00 PM 4:00 PM. There is no cost to participate. All girls must have a signed permission form to attend. Meeting dates at SRES are as follows: November 27, December 4, 11, 18 and January 8 and 15. All meeting times are from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. GIRLS ON THE RUN Girls on the Run fall season for grades 3-5 will continue meeting weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays until November 15, The fall K will be held on Saturday, November 17, beginning at 10:00 AM at the Knights Of Columbus in Batesville. GOOD NEWS CLUB GR. 1-6 Good News Club will be meeting after school on Mondays until 4:30 PM on the following Mondays: November 12 & 19. Forms are available in the office if you are interested in participating. GR. KG - 6 RAIDERETTES Lessons for grades K - 6 will be held on November from 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM at the SRES gym. The recital will be held on Monday, November 19, at 6:00 PM in the SRES gym.

In celebration of National School Lunch Week, we are inviting parents to eat a school lunch with their children. We will be highlighting our nutritious school lunches, giving parents a taste of what the students eat every day. We ask that parents do not bring food in from area restaurants during school lunch days. Parents should park in the side parking lot. Grades KG - 6 will have lunch from 12:15-12:45 PM. PK will have lunch from 10:45-11:15 PM Adult lunch is $3.30 and may be paid in the office prior to eating. Girls will learn arm motions, dance, cheer with a basic build and/or jumps, chants, and jumps. Girls will perform at the boys JV and Varsity half times on December 7, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAYS The dates listed below will be two- hour delay days: November 14 January 16 February 20 April 10 Bus service will remain the same, with your child being picked up exactly two hours later than normal. Breakfast will not be served on these days.

5 PTO FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS! The PTO fundraiser was a huge success again this year! Students sold 3,520 tubs of cookie dough! Thank you to everyone for their help with the fundraiser and support of SRES! The top seller in grades K-3 and grades 4-6 received a $ prize! The top seller in grades K-3 was Danalee Zumwalde and the top seller in grades 4-6 was Ethan Hunt. The top seller from each classroom was awarded a $25.00 prize. The top sellers from kindergarten are Mersaydise Wullenweber, Anthony Meisberger, and Lafe Shuey. Top sellers from first grade are Bentley Hunger, Brently Grigsby, Bentley Clift, and Noah Begley. Second grade top sellers are Alexis Bowling, Jayden Ruggles, and Gracie Sturgeon. Third grade top sellers are Olivia Ballmer, Jayden Hartig, Kennedy Demaree, Katie Thomas, and Brayden Jansen. Fourth grade top sellers are Mercedes McQueen, Zander Wright, Claire Samples, Allie Benham, and Ellianna Combs. Fifth grade top sellers are Avery Andrews, Landon Heppner, Kaleigh Perry, and Ava Bastin. Sixth grade top sellers are Adam Voris, Anna Block, Trace Barker, and Braxton Wilson. Congratulations to all SRES students who participated in our successful fundraiser! In celebration of our successful fundraiser, all students will be rewarded on Wednesday, November 14 with a Free Ice Cream Day. Thank you to all who helped make this a HUGE success!
