Please request a printed copy of this menu from the nursing station or Room Service Representative or find it online at Call when ready to order. ROOM SERVICE FOR PATIENTS WITH DIABETES Carbohydrate calories are very important in controlling blood sugar. This table suggests the number of carbohydrate servings to choose at each meal within your assigned calorie level. One serving contains approximately 15 grams of carbohydrate. Calories Carb Servings / Meal The bracketed number after each food item shows how many carb servings are in that item. When placing your order, choose within the range allowed for each meal. Our Room Service Representatives will assist you in this process. If you have any questions about your diet or would like to learn more about healthy eating with diabetes please ask to see a dietitian.
