The What For informal weddings we offer gourmet tapas finger food and buffet options which can be just as filling as the traditional fayre but served in a more sociable, party manner over the whole afternoon and evening. Guests can continue to mingle while food is served from platters and sharing plates or buffet. Tables and seating will also be available for those guests who prefer to sit. The Where Picture this, Sol y Sombra, exclusively yours for a day, for the party of all parties. The former church building with its stained glass windows & antique furniture is steeped in history and provides a genuinely alternative setting for a great party. Since 2006 it has been the chosen venue for many wedding celebrations and events. Recent accolades include YesChef s Best World Cuisine 2016 and RAI Best Wine Experience Kerry 2016 and Many exceptionally beautiful traditional weddings have been celebrated in Sol y Sombra however not everyone wants the traditional formula for their Big Day which is why informal wedding parties have become increasingly popular.
