5 Welcome to the 24 th White Cliffs Festival of Winter Ales, featuring around 60 winter and strong ales, of between 5% and 10% ABV, from mostly small independent and microbreweries from across the country. Look out for the Kent Beers section featuring the best of real ales from breweries across our county. This year we are pleased to feature over ten ciders from Kent cider makers. We are grateful for the support of individuals, organisations and businesses who have sponsored and supported our festival, usually in the form of a barrel of beer. We would like to thank the Breakwater Brewery for sponsoring the festival glasses. We d also like to thank our volunteers, without whose help this festival would never happen. Remember! The people who are running the festival are volunteers, so be nice to them! Enjoy your beer, drink responsibly and please do not drink and drive. Festival Information Ø NO food or drink may be brought in and consumed at the festival. Ø Please retain your ticket. You will need it for re-entry if you leave the festival. Ø Spare tokens can be donated to our sponsored charity or used at next year s festival. Ø Glasses and tokens must be refunded within 10 minutes of time being called. Ø You can ask for a taster. However, please try to limit such requests at busy times. Ø This is a beer festival, so everyone will be carrying glasses. Please be careful as you move around the event. Report any breakages and spillages to a member of staff. Ø Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the venue. Ø Children should be accompanied, kept under control and are not allowed at the bar. Ø Please familiarise yourself with the fire exits. In the event of a fire make your way to the nearest exit and obey any instructions given to you by a member of staff. DO NOT reenter the building until told to do so by a member of the Town Hall staff. Ø When leaving the festival, please leave in a quiet and orderly fashion.
