History Our approach to creating hotels always has been and will be unorthodox. In 1999, Ace Hotel Seattle was born when a few friends from Seattle got together to rehab an old fisherman s hotel.

2 History Our approach to creating hotels always has been and will be unorthodox. In 1999, Ace Hotel Seattle was born when a few friends from Seattle got together to rehab an old fisherman s hotel. They wanted it to be linked to the local culture, a living part of the community like the experience of staying with friends who are plugged into the local scene. Since then, we ve been dedicated to working with an honesty of materials, artists we admire and the experience that comes from being a seasoned traveler and knowing what you do and don t need when it comes to resting your weary head. So far, these guiding principles have led us from Seattle to Portland, Palm Springs, New York City, London, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh and now to New Orleans. Chicago is our next new home, slated to open Autumn

Arcane, brooding and legend-thick, the neighborhood has a spirit all its own, teeming with myth, music and the visible scars of its many complicated histories. We re moved by the weight New Orleans holds in its heart and the joy and light it holds there, too. We ve never encountered more delicious foods, more intricate or storied costumes or sounds as celebratory as those coming from a coronet in a Second Line band. We have a rooftop pool, a Southern-inspired osteria, a music venue and a Stumptown Coffee Roasters right off the lobby. Down the street, there s an oyster bar in a townhouse and some of the best shopping, art galleries and museums in the city. We re just a jaunt away from the French Quarter, and a stone s throw from the burgeoning South Market District. 5

The guest rooms feature love seats for lounging, a work table to rest a drink and custom coverlets inspired by French pattern work from the 1920s.
