As an added security feature, the lock s dead bolt can be engaged by simply turning the thumb latch located directly above the door handle. As an added precaution, please secure the safety bar lock. KEY CARDS To ensure your safety, the resort uses an electronic key card system. Be sure to safeguard your guest room key(s). Be careful not to demagnetize your key card. Do not leave it in your room or in the door. Do not give your card to others. Be sure to leave it at Guest Reception upon departure. ADMITTANCE Do not allow anyone you do not know or recognize into your room. A door viewer is provided for your convenience and safety. Please read the InnKeepers Laws posted on the inside of the closet. IN-ROOM SAFE Lansdowne Resort provides in-room safes with all of our guest rooms. The safe has been provided for you to store any valuables during your stay with us. It is located on the top shelf inside the armoire. Your in-room safe should be open prior to your arrival. To lock the safe, simply enter a 4-digit pin on the key pad and press the lock button. The word closed will appear on the display. To unlock the safe, enter your 4-digit pin and the safe will open. You may also use a credit card to lock the safe. Simply swipe your credit card through the card reader and closed will appear on the display. To open, swipe the same credit card through the reader and the door will open. Upon departure, please remember to remove all items from the in-room afe and leave the door unlocked. FIRE Please familiarize yourself with the location of the nearest fire exit stairs and review the fire evacuation map located on the back of your guest room door.
