1 HIGHFIELDS STATE SCHOOL P & C Association This menu is set out with foods marked with different colours to help make smart food choices. This menu complies with the Queensland tuckshop guidelines. Green: Have Plenty These foods and drinks are excellent sources of important nutrients, are low in saturated fat, sugar and salt. They help to avoid excess kilojoules. Amber: Select Carefully These foods and drinks have some nutritional value, have moderate amounts of saturated fat, sugar and salt. In large serves they contribute to excess kilojules. The tuckshop is always in need of volunteer helpers. If you can help The tuckshop is open Monday to Friday for lunch orders. out, even for an hour or two during the busy morning session, please contact Tamara at the tuckshop on (07) TUCKSHOP ORDERING The tuckshop operates 4 days per week Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday. There is a limited amount of hot food available over the counter but to ensure your child gets what they want, it is recommended to order by 9.30am.Our Tuckshop is based on brown paper bags. Please use separate bags to order 1 st break and 2 nd break and provide all relevant information (see below). Please do not use sticky tape or staples as these damage the lunch bags. You do not need to provide the correct change. Change can be given, however the Tuckshop are not responsible for any change lost. You can call in and see Tamara in the Tuckshop from 8:30am 2pm if you have any questions.

However, changes to food content by suppliers or changes of supplier due to product availability are sometimes necessary and will not be reflected until the menu is next updated.
