17 What a wonderful time had by all at the NYE Gala Dinner. Very generous portions of really delicious food. The atmosphere was amazing. We have been to several NYE events over the years; this event was the best of the lot! We stayed the night & our room was lovely with a big comfy bed & complimentary tea & coffee. The staff were so efficient & all were smiling throughout a very busy evening. They got a standing ovation at midnight deservedly so. I cannot think of a single negative thought it was that good! Sincere thanks to all concerned for making it such a wonderful, happy evening. 19 We have stayed at The Spa several times, but this was our first time over the Christmas period and we were so pleased we did! I just wanted to write to say what professional, friendly and helpful service we received from all of your staff during our stay this Christmas. We have just returned home after a lovely two day break over Christmas at The Spa Hotel with family. We had 5 rooms, each one lovely and clean and perfect for our needs. Christmas Day lunch was delicious, and run exceptionally well... 19

20 20 TERMS AND CONDITIONS Full payment is required one calendar month in advance of the booking date, by one card or cash payment per party. Deposits are non-refundable, and no refund will be made if bookings or part bookings are cancelled at any time. All additional costs for drinks and wine must be settled prior to leaving the hotel on the date of the booking. Upon receipt of your deposit a menu order form and place cards will be sent to you if applicable. These must be returned with your final payment at least one month before the booking date, together with any special dietary requests. Arrival and dining times will be confirmed to you. All prices quoted include VAT at the current rate. Gratuities are at the guest s discretion. We do not allow alcohol to be brought onto the premises. The use of aerosol novelties is prohibited. If your party is unable to attend due to inclement weather we will offer you an alternative date within 1 month of your original booking. If this date is unacceptable we regret that any deposits/monies paid will not be refundable. We reserve the right to cancel any of the published party night dates if we do not have sufficient numbers, or provide an alternative room if numbers reduce. Timings: It is imperative that events run according to timings, specifically with regard to food service. Therefore, if the sit down time of an event is delayed by the organiser for more than 30 minutes an additional charge of 100 will be payable, we also reserve the right to amend the sit down time on the night if your entire party is not present, please also inform us of any speeches or toasts prior to the event. Please note children are not allowed to attend party nights or the New Year s Eve Gala Dinner. Any changes made within 10 working days of the event will result in an administration charge. 24 IN OUT BISHOP S DOWN ROAD FROM EASTBOURNE A2021 / A22 Leave Eastbourne via the A2021 and head for A22 towards Uckfield. Join A26 at Horsted Place. Then follow directions above through Crowborough A26 into Kent. LANGTON ROAD MAJOR YORK S ROAD MOUNT EPHRAIM FROM M25 LONDON ORBITAL /A21 SOUTH BOUND Leave M25 at Junction 5 and join A21 signposted for Sevenoaks and Hastings. Take the 4th exit for A26 Tunbridge Wells and Southborough. Follow A26 through Southborough and St. Johns. At mini roundabout, take 2nd exit marked for through traffic. Drive past the Kent & Sussex Hospital on right. Just after the parade of shops and restaurants, take right hand forkon to Mount Ephraim (A264). Proceed until you reach a mini roundabout. Take the 2nd exit and the hotel entrance is almost immediately on your right,just before the Renault Garage. FROM BRIGHTON A207 / A27 Leave Brighton on the A207 heading for Lewes following signs for A27. Then follow signs for A26 for Tunbridge Wells. Go straight over traffic lights at Crowborough (A26) and continue until you reach Tunbridge Wells. At the first mini roundabout bear left. Shortly after you will come to another mini roundabout (with the Swan Hotel on your right). Turn left here and go up Major York s Road. At the top of the hill you will come to another mini roundabout, take the first exit and the hotel entrance is almost immediatelyon your right, just before the Renault Garage. 24 FROM HASTINGS A21 Follow A21 through Robertsbridge and Flimwell, bypassing Lamberhurst. Leave the A21 following signposts for the A264 into Tunbridge Wells. Follow this road until you reach the traffic lights with the Royal Oak pub on your left. Turn right here onto Calverley Road. At the mini roundabout take the first exit onto Crescent Road. Continue straight over the next 2 sets of traffic lights (through the middle of town) and at the top of the hill turn left onto Mount Ephraim (signposted East Grinstead). Proceed to the mini roundabout and take the second exit. The hotel entrance is almost immediately on your right, just before the Renault Garage. FROM HAYWARDS HEATH B2028 VIA EAST GRINSTEAD Follow B2028 to Turners Hill and join B2110, right turn. Follow this road into East Grinstead and join the one way system round town. Turn left onto the A264 for Tunbridge Wells. This road will take you through Hammerwood, Holtye, Blackham and Stone Cross into Kent. At the end of this road turn left following signs for Tunbridge Wells. Drive through Langton Green and you will see The Spa Hotel on your left just after the Renault Garage.
