1 Christmas 2017 at Café des Amis We would like to invite you to book your Christmas party or festive celebration at Café Des Amis this year. Our ethos is all about sharing good food with friends, whilst enjoying the warm and welcoming atmosphere, delicious cocktails, friendly service, vibrant decor and great Latin music. At Café des Amis we have created a menu that not only draws on the exotic and vibrant flavours of Mexico but also the fresh and healthy ingredients of the Mediterranean. Most of our dishes are mild but you can make your meal as spicy as you like by adding one of our salsas. For our Christmas menus we have selected starters, main course and desserts that are mostly made to be shared, creating an informal and festive meal, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to discuss your own menu requirements. We are accustomed to accommodating large celebration parties, and believe in complementing our customers meal with friendly and efficient service. Making your Booking: 1. Check how many will be in your group, then phone us to check whether we have space on your preferred date and at a time to suit you. 2. Once you have made a booking, ask each person in your group to tick their choice for each course on the relevant booking form. 3. Return the booking form to us; we will then confirm your booking. 4. 2 Christmas Menus 2017 Any 2 courses per person Nachos for two Tortilla chips with melted vintage farmhouse cheddar, salsa, spring onions, sour cream and jalapenos. Antojitos for two Mixed starters including meatballs in chilpotle sauce, duck tacos, pork & chorizo tamale, gruyere cheese fondue, Courgette feta fritters, ceviche, guacamole, pickles and bread. Trio of Ceviches Smoked haddock with coriander aioli Hawaiian style Tuna poke and Salmon with roast tomato salsa Duck Tacos Fruity spiced duck confit, in crisp corn tortillas, mango salsa Pollo Verde Panfried chicken breast, green herb almond and jalapeno cream sauce, rice and salsa Citrus and Coriander Lamb Stew Yucatan style lamb, slow cooked with achiote, garlic, orange and lime juice. Rice and pineapple habanero salsa Roast Vegetable Tostada Mediterranean vegetables roasted in olive oil, refried beans, feta, pesto, chilpotle salsa, crisp corn tortillas Green pepper cream sauce Fajitas (for 2 or more) Roll your own tacos with soft wheat tortillas, salsa, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, salad, black beans, jalapenos and one of the following sizzling dishes: Pan Fried Chicken Breast Marinated in garlic, lime and oregano. Crispy Duck Confit Orange, soy, rosemary and honey glaze. Yucatan Pork Belly Orange, garlic and habanero glaze. Chimayo spiced crackling. Flat Mushrooms Pan-fried in a garlic and ancho chilli butter. Pulled Lamb Shoulder Slow cooked in beer, tomatillo salsa. Chocolate Fondue fresh seasonal fruit, cream and churros. Mango Cheesecake butter shortbread base, strawberry compote. Chocolate Orange Cake with white and dark chocolate cream. Coconut Crème Caramel with passionfruit sauce Tropical Fruit Sorbet. All tips go to staff.
