3 Guideline for making a Kiddush Introduction When making a Kiddush there are three different food menus. The menus have been designed to suit different choices. These options are reviewed and amended on a regular basis. Whichever option is selected the process for booking and organising a Kiddush is the same: The Process Book the date The date should be reserved by contacting the Kiddush coordinator either by - Kiddush@yeshurun.org.uk or through the office : Choose the menu option: General : 1. All prices include the preparation and presentation of the Kiddush 2. Paper goods (white serviettes and clear/white plastic plates/hot cups where applicable). Clients must provide their own paper/plastic goods for a different colour scheme. Any disposables left over and not collected will be accepted as a donation to the Yeshurun stock. 3. There is a choice of blue, black or white tablecloths [laundering of white cloths is included, coloured cloths will be charged for]. 4. Any flower arrangements or balloons must be delivered to Yeshurun on the Friday morning before 11.30am. 5. Any baking must be organised through initial discussions and booked with the Rabbi. 6. Any additions to the menus may be discussed with the Kiddush coordinator. 7. All kiddushim MUST be paid for in advance. 8. All prices are for 150 people (an average Shabbat attendance), there is a 20% additional charge for every additional 50 people. 9. 5 Bespoke Kiddush You may choose to have a bespoke shomered Kiddush catered by any person approved by the shul. Please check with the Rabbi. Choose the size of the Kiddush A normal Kiddush attendance is approximately 150 people if you are expecting extra then you may want to increase the size of your Kiddush. Paying for the Kiddush Please make payments to Yeshurun Ladies Guild. Payments can be made as follows:- By bank transfer to:- Nat West - Sort Code: Account No: Please use surname and date of Kiddush as reference (eg for a Kiddush on 1 st May 2015 reference should be Cohen ). Alternatively please send cheques to the shul office. Cheques to be made payable to Yeshurun Ladies Guild - Address: Yeshurun Hebrew Congregation, Coniston Road, Gatley, Cheadle, SK8 4AP. Please put name and date of Kiddush on the back of your cheque. Please note full payment should be received at least 10 days before the Kiddush date.
