1 Kalos eerthate We welcome you and hope you have the time to enjoy the full Angasi experience EAT - DRINK - SLEEP Angasi Bar and Grill Our Chefs have sourced the finest local produce from the region and surrounds and mixed it with a blend of Greek Mediterranean influenced seafood and Texas style steaks. The beef is all from Hopkins River Beef at the foot of the Grampians, with a 3 plus marble score. The local fishing fleet provide the seafood fresh daily. To compliment each dish our chefs have worked closely together with our featured winery to unify amazing cuisine with their exciting range of wines. Please ask one of our staff members for a recommended wine to match your meal. For those who prefer a beer with their meal, our featured brewery Bellarine Brewing Company is proud to include its ever expanding range of ales, pilsners, lagers and stouts to help enhance your dining experience. Bellarine Estate Peter and Lizette Kenny established Bellarine Estate in 1996 with the goal of producing premium cool climate wines on the Bellarine Peninsula. The 100 acre property occupies the northern slopes of the hills overlooking Corio Bay. The vineyard is nestled in a valley that is sheltered from harsh winds, yet perfectly positioned to capture the sun s rays. This true maritime climate provides warm days and cool nights which ensure a long, slow ripening season, and fruit of exceptional quality. The area s rich black basalt soils overlying a limestone base further accentuates the fruit flavours and gives the wines a wonderfully unique depth of character. Bellarine Brewing Company Bellarine Brewing Company, established in 2007 by brewery partners Tim Page-Walker and Peter Kenny is the first micro-brewery on the Bellarine Peninsula and is located at Bellarine Estate. The brewery produces exceptional quality lagers, ales, pilsners and stouts. The beers are distinctly different, full of character, flavour and lightly carbonated in the bottle or keg using a natural secondary ferment. All beers are 100% pure craft beer, no preservatives, no additives.

7 Faith Bellarine Estate Faith restaurant is a partnership between Bellarine Estate, Bellarine Secondary College and the Salvation Army. The goal of the program is to take students from Bellarine Secondary College and teach them all the aspects of running a restaurant. The students attend Bellarine Estate once a week during school terms, where they learn how to setup a restaurant, design a menu, plan a menu, serve customers and most importantly prepare and cook their menu for guests in the restaurant. The students also learn how to market the restaurant and in particular their dinner. During the course of the last 12 months the students have conducted dinners for as many as 140 customers in the one sitting, cooking and serving all the meals themselves. They have held themed dinners such as Op Shop Formal and used some of their dinners as fund raisers to help other people not only in our local region but also overseas. Having raised over $2000 for a Ugandan Mission and worked at the longest lunch to help raise over $7000 for Barwon Health thru Our Women Our Children, the students are always looking for new an innovative ideas for a dinner. Our staff donates their time freely to this program as well as donating all the tips received at Bellarine Estate and now Angasi Bar and Grill towards the running of the program. From time to time you will see the students serving you here at Angasi Bar and Grill as well as Bellarine Estate. To date the program has been a great success with 3 students already finding full time apprenticeships in the kitchens within our region and another 9 finding part time work in cafes and restaurant around the Bellarine. Should you be in the hospitality industry yourself and looking for staff now or in the future please keep this program in mind as we are always looking for other businesses to employ some of the students. Remember your tips are going towards the running of this program, however should you wish to help out further and think you would like to sponsor a student please let one of our staff members know and we will be in touch.
