2 How to make a booking: Check availability for your little one s big day Select a timeslot Complete the booking confirmation form Pay R500 deposit and POP to secure your booking Cancellations or late departure will result in forfeiting the R deposit. Please POP and your completed booking form to carli@vredenheimanimalfarm.co.za Final numbers and request to be confirmed 5 days prior to your event Final invoice to be paid 2 days prior to your event, POP to be ed to Vredenheim Animal Farm. Any cancelations should be done in writing via , 7 days prior to your booking. A R15.00 adult entry fee will be charged. The party host will be responsible for the payment. We are open Monday Sunday for birthday party bookings Time Slot options or Set-Up: Morning timeslot: You are welcome to set-up any time from 09:30 Afternoon timeslot: You are welcome to set-up any time from 13:00 Please make sure to leave the party area when your timeslot ends. We have to get ready for the next party to make sure it is as special as yours. You are welcome to move to the foodcourt area and spend the rest of the afternoon in the park. If you do not leave by the end of your timeslot you will forfeit your R500 deposit. Décor: Moms, you can be creative and decorate your little one s special day. Please note, we don t supply any décor, cutlery or crockery. Vredenheim Animal Farm will only supply: Plastic chairs and tables for the kids and Wooden benches for the adults.

3 Catering: For amazing platters, please see our platter selection for the adults to snack on during the day. All platters should be ordered in advance. Should you prefer to bring in your own platters on the day, a R20.00 food fee will be charged. Please confirm this prior to your event. Enjoy some home-made meals like Vetkoek & Mince from our foodcourt A R20.00 refundable wine glass deposit is payable on the day or can be booked beforehand. Food Court: At our food court we have a selection of: Wines, Beers, Cider s, Coffee, Juice and Cooldrinks Selection of Crisps and Sweets Boerewors Rolls, Jaffels & Vetkoek and Mince All menu items are subject to change Cakes & Cupcakes: You are more than welcome to bring in your own cake or cupcakes. For amazing cakes, we recommend Annie s Boutique Bakery. For more information on facebook. Remember to bring you own cake stand, knives plates etc. on the day. If you order multiple platter options, it is served on one or two large platters, so your guests can share. 3. If you would like to bring your own platters you are welcome to, at the cost of R20 per adult. 7 FAQ What happens if it rains? Please remember we are an outdoor party venue and we cannot guarantee what the weather will be like. Make sure to check the weather forecast in the week leading up to the party. If it does rain on the day of your party, you have the option to move the party to another date that suits both parties or we can move it into our barn. Please make sure to contact us two days before to change the date of your party. Viewing: Should you wish to arrange a site visit to see the layout of the park and the party spot, please contact us to confirm a date and time. Can we bring a cake? Yes, you are most welcome to bring a cake/cupcakes along. Just remember to bring along cutlery and crockery too. Can we Spitbraai/Barbeque or Picnic? No, we do not allow any of above in Vredenheim Animal Farm We have two lovely restaurants on the farm, Barrique and Hudsons where you can also enjoy a meal (please note no take aways from the restaurants are allowed in the animal farm) Is the foodcourt open in the week? No, all food and drinks orders need to be placed before the party. You can indicate on your booking form. Where do I park and how do I get to the Animal Farm? Vredenheim animal farm is on Vredenheim Wine Estate - R310 Baden Powell Drive. Park in parking lot in the front of the farm. ALWAYS ENTER AND EXIT THROUGH WINE TASTING AND NOT THROUGH HUDSONS OR BARRIQUE RESTAURTANT. If you are unsure of where to go, please feel free to ask one of the staff members to direct you.

No outside beverages will be allowed into Vredenheim Animal Farm (R20 per person fee is applicable per person when platters are brought in). 4. The use of the facilities and interacting with our animals is entirely at your own risk. 5. Smoking is not permitted inside the Animal Farm. 6. Cancellations of parties or late departure of venue will result in forfeiting the R deposit. Cancellations should be done in writing. No verbal cancellations are allowed. 7. Vredenheim Animal Farm and/or its staff will under no circumstances be liable for the loss or damage to any property of the function holder and guests attending the event. 8. Vredenheim Animal Farm may at its sole discretion remove any visitor from the porperty for unruly or disruptive behaviour. 9. In cases where the weather is overcast arrangements can be made two days prior to the party to reschedule to another available timeslot. 10. Timeslot will only be booked once deposit is payed and booking form has been submitted.
