GOLF NEWS Congrats MGA Player of the Year Rob Tykal is the 2014 Dunes West MGA Player of the Year! Rob shot a gross 36 for an adjusted net-2 34 on the back nine for the victory. Rob drained long putts (25 +) on both 17 and 18 for the win. He won the tie-breaker with Eddie Clark with both players net-parring #18 but Rob birdieing #17. Those in attendance saw some fantastic golf on a beautiful day, with the top-three players shooting net scores of 31, 32 and 35 before adjusting to give back strokes dependent on their rank in the final standings. The lower seeds having to offer up strokes didn t slow them down as they finished in reverse order of starting seed: #4, #3, #2, #1.
