Continue to operate with a growth mindset...we can, we must, and we will reach our goal of high scholar achievement! May is packed with terrific events. The Spring JH Band and Choir Concert will be Tuesday, May 1st at 6:00 pm in the Gymnasium. Enter through the Main Entrance on 157 th Street. The PTA meeting is on Thursday, May 3rd at 5 pm in Café II. Progress Reports will be sent home on Thursday, May 3rd. Please join us for our Cinco de Mayo Assemblies on Friday, May 4th. The Bilingual Parent Advisory Meeting is Tuesday, May 8th at 8:30 am in Room 104. Friday, May 11th is an Early Dismissal for all students at 1:00 pm. Join us for the Peace Keepers Talent Show on Friday, May 11th at 4 pm in the Gymnasium. The Board of Education Meeting is on Monday, May 14th at 6:00 pm in Room 104. The Honors Banquet is Wednesday, May 16th at 6:00 pm at the American Legion Hall Friday, May 18th is an Early Dismissal for all students at 1:00 pm. Scholar of the Month Celebration is Monday, May 21st at 1:45 pm in Café II. There is no school on Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day. The 8 th Grade Banquet is on Thursday, May 29th at 6:00 pm at the American Legion Hall. Lincoln Spirit Week from Tuesday, May 29th thru Friday, June 1 st. The PTA Carnival is Tuesday, May 29th. The Kindergarten Promotion is Thursday, May 31st at 11:00 am in the Gymnasium. The 8 th Grade Promotion is Thursday, May 31 st at 7:00 pm at TF North. The last day of school is on Tuesday, June 5 th. This is a full day of school. The Read to Succeed Program begins on Friday, June 8 th from 12 noon-2:00 pm and continues through Friday, July 6 th. Students enter through Door #12 from the West Playground and go to the 6 th grade wing where they can check out books and receive prizes for 100% scores on reading tests. Summer School begins on Monday, June 11 th from 8:15 am- 2:00 pm and ends on June 29 th. I m looking forward to seeing you at our May events! Continúa operando con una mentalidad de crecimiento... podemos, debemos y vamos a llegar a nuestra meta de logro académico! Mayo está lleno de eventos maravillosos. El Concierto de Primavera será el martes, 1 de mayo a las 6:00 pm en el Gimnasio. Serán entretenidos por La Banda y el Coro. Favor de entrar por la entrada principal por la calle 157. La reunión de la Asociación de Padres y Maestros es el jueves, 3 de mayo a las 5:00 pm en el Café II. Reportes de progreso serán enviados a casa con los estudiantes el jueves, 3 de mayo. Favor de acompáñenos para la Asambleas de Cinco de Mayo el viernes, 4 de mayo. La reunión de Padres Bilingües es el martes, 8 de mayo a las 8:30 am en el salon #104. Clases terminan a l:00 pm para todos los estudiantes el viernes, 11 de mayo. Acompáñenos para la Asamblea de Talento del grupo Peace Keepers el viernes, 11 de mayo a las 4 pm en el Gimnasio. La junta del Consejo de Educación es el lunes, 14 de mayo a las 6:00 pm en salón #104. El Banquete de Honores es el miércoles, 16 de mayo a las 6:00 pm en el American Legion Hall. Clases terminan a l:00pm para todos los estudiantes el viernes, 18 de mayo. La Celebración del Académico del mes será el lunes, 21 de mayo a las 1:45 pm en el Café II. No habrá clases el lunes, 28 de mayo, para Memorial Day. El Banquete para estudiantes del Octavo Grado es jueves, 29 de mayo a las 6:00 pm en el American Legion Hall. La Semana del Espíritu de Lincoln será el martes, 29 de mayo hasta el viernes, 1 de junio. El Carnaval de PTA es el martes, 29 de mayo. La Promoción de Kinder es el jueves, 31 de mayo a las 11:00 am en el Gimnasio. Promoción del Octavo Grado es el jueves, 31 de mayo a las 7:00 pm en TF North. El último día de clases es el martes, 5 de junio. Este es un día completo de clases. El Programa Read to Succeed comienza el viernes, 8 de junio de 12:00 pm-2:00 pm y continuará hasta el viernes, 6 de julio. Estudiantes entran por puerta # 12 en el patio de recreo y irán al piso de sexto grado donde podrán sacar libros y recibirán premios por cada vez que reciben 100% en sus pruebas. Escuela de Verano comienza el lunes, 11 de junio de 8:15 am - 2:00 pm y termina el 29 de junio. Nos vemos durante nuestros eventos en mayo! 6 Preschool for All Screening for School Year Lincoln School District th St. Calumet City, IL May 16 and 17, 2018 Lincoln School s Early Childhood Programs offers a half-day preschool programs for three and four year old children at no charge for eligible families. ALL PROSPECTIVE PRESCHOOL STUDENTS MUST BE SCREENED. SCREENING DOES NOT GUARANTEE ENROLLMENT. Children will be screened in a variety of areas to assess their overall development. If you would like to have your child screened, please call the main office at (708) to schedule an appointment.
