1 Personal Chef Service Deborah Saves you Money & Saves you Time! Hello, Thank you for your interest in my Personal Chef Service. Here is my Information Package! Every client is different and the entrees I have selected for this package are just a basic selection of what is available but it will gives you a good idea of how the service works. A Personal Chef benefits individuals and families who don t have time to prepare healthy meals, but really want them. There are many reasons why some people can t prepare healthy and delicious meals. Usually it s because they just don t have enough time at the end of the day. For others, it s diet or health issues. Some people suddenly develop allergies and intolerances to foods and need to replace them, but don t know what to substitute. Hungry people who don t have any idea What s for dinner tonight? end up eating fast food or take-out and purchase too many overly processed dinners from the grocery store. Convenient? Sure Healthy? Not so sure. I customize my service for every individual client and prepare the types of food that they want. Some want totally healthy and low fat while another may want comfort foods like meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy. I have a few clients that like me to prepare bulk items such as whole roasted chickens taken off the bone, beef, chicken and fresh vegetable stocks along with blanched fresh veggies, so they can create their own entrees but prefer to start with freshly made basics! I have another client that orders big pots once a month of items like, organic turkey chili, organic spaghetti sauce with grass fed beef meatballs and organic chicken noodle soup, etc. She freezes them in both dinner size portions and lunch portions which her children to take to school. She has three children going in different directions all at the same time and a personal chef saves her both time and money and they can still eat healthy! I also have a client who has severe food allergies. He orders 6 allergy free entrees once a month and I package them in single portions which he keeps in a small chest freezer in his garage. When he gets into his car to go to work, he grabs a lunch from the freezer. By lunch time, it s defrosted and ready to heat and eat! The first step is to set up an appointment with me so we can sit down together and do a complete food profile and figure out the best type of service for you. Once I have that information I can put together a collection of entrees that you can choose from based on your specific profile. I offer a weekly chef service which is called a Fresh Service, where no entrees are frozen. The most popular is a bi-monthly service where it is 1/2 refrigerated and 1/2 frozen for the second week. This is great for clients that only need 3-meals a week. I also offer a monthly service where the meals are portioned out for two servings and frozen. (favorite for busy professionals with no children who are fed up with fast food and restaurants). How often I cook for you will really depend on (1) whether or not they like my cooking and (2) how quickly you eat what has been prepared. I prefer to use Pyrex dishes that go from freezer to oven, as well as glass canning jars for soups and sauces. Some food will be stored in plastic containers as well. I am also very happy to use some of your personal casserole dishes if you prefer. Simple Re-heating or completing instructions are included for each item. 7 Personal Chef Service Agreement Dining by Design Personal Chef Service will work with you to customize your meals based on your specific needs, and tastes. We will develop the grocery list and shop for all the ingredients, based on your preferences. We will only use the freshest ingredients available. We will be as organic and natural as the markets allow. The customized menu will be presented to you in advance for your approval. Service Provided: We will plan the menu, shop for, and prepare up to six entrees, with sides for up to six people. We will give you detailed instructions for reheating and completing the entrees. You will be given a summary of the service which will include a list of stores, amount spent at each store and what was prepared for you. We will also provide a copy of the grocery list, if desired. Payment Arrangements: At the signing of this contract, a deposit of : _($ $ based on # of entrees) is required. This amount covers the Personal Chef Service Fee for Service of : (from 4 up to 6 meals) along with a guarantee that your cook date has been reserved for : On the agreed upon cook date, you will be responsible for the cost of the groceries required to prepare your meals, as well as any additional food and beverages that you have requested we pick up for you. This amount will be charged to your credit card and a copy of the Chef Service Summary will be left with your reheating instructions for your records. Additional Meals or Personal Chef Service Catering Should you desire additional entrees for guests, notification is required two days in advance, at which time, any additional fee will be determined. Disclaimer: Dining by Design Personal Chef Service personnel have been educated and trained in the proper handling of foods and storage and utilizes those practices to insure that your food will be an enjoyable safe food product. However, once Dining by Design Personal Chef Service has properly completed its service, you are then responsible for continuing proper food storage and handling techniques to prevent any food-borne illness. If you have any questions concerning proper techniques used, Dining by Design Personal Chef Service will be happy to discuss them with you.
