2 Welcome! 1 Thank you for your interest in our historic Inn we are a full-service Country Inn priding ourselves in providing caring customer service, tasty cuisine, hand crafted ales from our onsite Brewery and cozy lodging rooms. This one of a kind, historic hotel dates back to 1797 when Dartmouth graduate, Jasper Murdock served his first guest. Recent updates include the addition of our Walker House & Ivy Lodge increasing lodging options for our guests. Location and Attractions On the VT/NH line just a little over a mile from Hanover, NH. Cakes must be ordered a week in advance of the date of the event. CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE A single layer of intense chocolate cake finished with chocolate glaze, a wheat free option (available as 8 piece or 12 piece). SPANISH VANILLA A dense cake studded with bits of almond paste and chocolate and finished with almond buttercream. PISTACHIO MOUSSE Delicate chiffon cake layered with smooth pistachio mousse set apart by raspberry jam. CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE Decadent 61% chocolate honey mousse layered between our gluten-light chocolate chiffon cakes, with dark chocolate and raspberries. LEMON RASPBERRY Yellow chiffon cake layered with fresh lemon curd and seedless raspberry jam, finished with lemon buttercream. A visit to our Alehouse is the perfect place to enjoy one of our freshly brewed ales. The Pub offers an extensive diverse menu which is moderately priced. Some of our entrée items include ingredients from our Jasper Murdock Ales. During warm weather you may want to take your Ale and dine outside on our Patio located right outside of the Pub surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Brewery Our Brew Master, Jeremy Hebert is proud to welcome you to the Brewery at the Norwich Inn, home of Jasper Murdock Ales. Our Ales, brewed at this New England microbrewery, have won 4 silver and a gold medal in recent years at the Great International Beer Competition. Jasper Murdock's Ales and Lagers are crafted from the finest malts and hops, occasionally including hops grown in our own hop garden here at the Inn. Because filtration can strip flavor and body from a beer, the yeast is allowed to settle out naturally in an extended cold-aging period to ensure that all the goodness reaches your palate. The beer is then pumped underground from the beer cellars to our pub at the Inn. In addition, we offer our Ales in bottles available for purchase at our front desk. Jasper Murdock Whistling Pig Ale Cheddar The Inn features a signature ale cheese in collaboration with Woodstock s Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company. Jasper Murdock s Whistling Pig Red Ale Cheddar is highlighted in some of our Alehouse recipes and is available in 7 oz. packages at the Inn & local stores. Meet the man behind our Jasper Murdock Ales Jeremy Hebert is a Vermonter through and through, schooled at the University of Vermont (UVM) After graduating from UVM in 1988, Hebert started home brewing. These days you can find Hebert in the brew house at the Inn brewing ales and lagers, jamming on Phish, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and
