3 CRAFTY IN THE MORNING If there is no breakfast provided by a caterer it is very important to provide some breakfast items at the crafty table. Consider changing it up each day so it s not just bagels. Maybe donuts one day or affordable options such as oatmeal or cereal. It is VERY critical to have coffee ready as soon as crew arrive. If you were at the location the day before then you can potentially have the coffee ready the prior night so that the first person in can just turn it on. If this is the first time to the location and it may be difficult to get coffee setup quickly...it may be wise to consider buying a $15 starbucks travelers which can be pre ordered the night before. Sometimes caterers provide coffee depending on which company you are using. SETTING UP THE TABLE Setup 1 2 tables Use table cloths if available Get coffee started Add ice and water bottles to coolers. Place food and fruit on the table MONITORING THE TABLE Crafty is like a toddler. It is always making a mess and it is always needing someone to clean after it. Replenish all items on table when they become bare Tidy up the area. Remove trash from the table and surrounding area. Check coolers/add water or ice (if needed) SPECIAL ITEMS One thing you can do to make crafty special is to have a few special items out each day that are different. These are often best when placed in a tray and can be brought around to the cast and crew while on set. ie. (vegetable tray, fresh cookies, bagel bites, mini sandwiches, egg rolls)
