Starting in April we will be hosting a Wii tennis league! This league will run for 8 weeks, and will consist of 5 teams of two. You may register as a team of two, or individually, and we will help you find a team. Registration will begin on March 8 th and last until March 22 nd. Please call x10 to register. Williamson County Community Band Season Opening Concert and Fundraiser Tuesday, April 10th 2012 Performance 7:30pm, Doors at 6:30pm The Franklin Theatre..419 Main Street, downtown Franklin Tickets are $20 for cabaret seating, $10 for classic seating Purchase tickets online or at the Franklin Theatre box-office Special Guest, Mrs. Lisa Spencer Music selections may include; Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Billy Joel & more! 2 Join us for a tour and afternoon movie in the newly renovated Franklin Theatre, in downtown historic Franklin! We will meet downtown, 419 Main Street, and start our afternoon with a guided tour of the Theatre. We will go behind the scenes to learn about the early history of the Theatre, and get a first hand look at the renovations of the backstage area, balcony, and Green room. After the tour, we will have time for a short break. A variety of snacks and soft drinks are available at the concessions, for you to enjoy. Our afternoon movie is Easter Parade, staring Fred Astaire and Judy Garland! Astaire is trying to turn chorus girl, Garland, into a star, in order to show up a former partner (Ann Miller). With 17 musical numbers, all written by Irving Berlin, this classic is sure to be a crowd pleaser! Don t miss this great afternoon! After we finish our delicious meal we will travel to Iris City Gardens just outside Lipers Fork.

3 Spring is in the air! Join us as we enjoy a brunch buffet at the Country Boy Restaurant. We will be served bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, hash brown potatoes, fresh fruit, tossed salad and a pasta salad. After we finish our delicious meal we will travel to Iris City Gardens just outside Lipers Fork. At Iris City Gardens we will take pleasure in a guided stroll where you will see a variety of Iris such as; Louisiana and Siberian Iris, virginica, pseudacorus, Versicolor, laevigata and many other species. After our tour of the gardens, lemonade will be provided while you enjoy the beautiful country farm! While we are at the Iris City Gardens, you will have the opportunity to purchase potted iris, daylilies, peonies, water lilies and other perennial plants at their nursery. 8 Policies Registration Policy All registration dates are included in the activity description. Registration will begin at 9:00am on the first date listed (no registrations will be taken before that time). Registrations for trips or programs can be made in person or phoned in to the receptionist. You must speak with a receptionist in order to make your reservation. Please note: Messages are not accepted when making a reservation! For phone registrations, please call , ext. 10 (Franklin Recreation Complex) or , ext. 10 (Longview Recreation Center). Please note: Registrations will take place at the facility where the day trip or program is being offered. In order to hold your reservation, payments must be received within 5 days of registration. Payments can be 1. Mailed in 2. Phoned in (i.e. credit card, and will include a small processing fee) 3. Paid in person Please note: Due to the high interest in our day trips, individuals may register only 1 other person for a trip. Other helpful information... Please remember that the facility where you register for a trip, will be the facility where you will board and return via the motor coach. This allows us to better organize large groups, and ensures a safe happy experience for everyone. There is a waiting list available at both the Longview Center and the Franklin Complex. If there is a cancellation at either facility, patrons will be contacted by either Amanda (Longview) or Mary (Franklin) in the order in which they have been placed on the waiting list. If you are unable to attend a trip you have registered for, please contact either Amanda or Mary so that we can fill your spot via the waiting list only. We ask that you do not take it upon yourself to fill your spot, so that everyone who has called in has an equal chance to participate. Trip Cancellation Policy Refunds are available through the last day of registration. After the final registration date, most trips are nonrefundable unless your spot can be filled by someone off the waiting list.
