Foods containing less than one point of calcium or phosphorus may be consumed in unlimited amounts. 1 point (Pt.) = 1 milliequivalent (meq) (1 meq Calcium = 20 mg; 1 meq Phosphorus = 15.5 mg) Foods containing calcium may be selected until you reach points. Foods containing phosphorus may be selected until you reach points.
