2 From humble beginnings starting in 1978, Indian Harvest has steadily grown to be the country s premier provider of rice and rice blends, exotic grains, and legumes to many of the industry s top creative chefs and restaurants. Because of the company s dedication to clean, high-quality unique products, top-notch customer support, and the company s respect for the planet and its people, Indian Harvest has gained a very loyal following in the culinary community. YOUR HERE Indian Harvest takes sourcing very seriously and, wherever possible, we are personally involved with our growers. Products are sourced from as far away as high in the Andes Mountains of Bolivia, as is the case for our quinoas, or the Luzon Rice Terraces in the Philippines for our Eighth Wonder Varieties, or as near as Minnesota or California for wild rice and our own heirloom Colusari Red Rice. All of our products are grown naturally, some are grown organically, and all are processed according to a self-imposed HACCP food safety program at our own facility in Colusa, CA, allowing us to exceed food safety requirements and offer the cleanest, dry rice and grains. Indian Harvest s processing facility is audited annually by AIB International. Our products are certified Kosher, as indicated on the packaging. Letters of certification are available upon request.
