SUMMARY OF THE EVENT The 11th International Wine and Spirits Exhibition was held from 14 to 16 June 2018 at the ExpoGeorgia Exhibition Centre.

The success of the exhibition can also be contributed to the fact that small and family-run vineyards and cellars were exhibiting together with large companies, presenting a variety of unique

2 SUMMARY OF THE EVENT The 11th International Wine and Spirits Exhibition was held from 14 to 16 June 2018 at the ExpoGeorgia Exhibition Centre. This year there were 118 participants from 12 countries and the number of visitors were The event once again demonstrated its importance on both regional and international markets. The success of the exhibition can also be contributed to the fact that small and family-run vineyards and cellars were exhibiting together with large companies, presenting a variety of unique Georgian wines and spirits. The visitors had a chance to taste a wide variety of wines and to get acquainted with both traditional and modern trends. The 10th International Wine Competition was held during the exhibition. 6 ADDITIONAL EXHIBITION EVENTS GALA EVENING AND WINE AWARDS CEREMONY The Gala Dinner and the 10th International Wine Awards Ceremony were both held on 14 June The event was attended by participants as well as specially invited representatives, the media and government officials. The purpose of the awards ceremony was to recognise and award outstanding quality wines, to highlight the achievements of private individuals and companies in the wine industry and to bring them together at one event. THE WINES PARTICIPATING IN THE INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION WERE EVALUATED BY A PANEL CONSISTING OF INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY EXPERTS: Tim Atkin MW - Writer of Online Drinks Kenichi Ohashi MW - Wine & sake expert based in Japan.
