2 Karrington Vineyard s Gratuit Pinot Grigio Wine Fact Sheet Karrington Vineyard s opened on January 16 th, 2015 in Napa Valley, California. The company was started by Roxy Evans who know co-owns her son, Joshua Evans. There are 1000 people employed at Karrington Vineyards. Karrington Vineyard s originally was a plantation that grew grapes to sell to wineries. The Gratuit Pinot Grigio Wine was launched in September Karrington Vineyard s was popular for only producing and distributing grapes to wineries, without having a winery on the property. After years of supplying for other wineries, Karrington Vineyard s opened its own winery. With a winery being added, the owners decided to make a signature wine, Gratuit Pinot Grigio wine. This adds to the other wines that Karrington Vineyard s produce. Gratuit Pinot Grigio wine has a smooth berry and grape taste and is distributed in various markets, restaurants and bars in the US. Karrington Vineyard s donates the proceeds made from Gratuit Pinto Grigio to the American Cancer Society. Roxy Evans has family close members who are being affected by the devastation of cancer. Her first cousin, Shanna is struggling with ovarian cancer and Roxy wants to support her and other cancer patients however she can. The name of the wine, Gratuit, means free which is in correlation to being cancer free. The wine was launched in September because September is National Ovarian Cancer month, the cancer that is devastating the owner s family.

4 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 1, 2018 Contact: Ryan Kilkenny, Events Director Karrington Vineyards Creates New Wine to Support Cause Karrington Vineyards uses wine to raise cancer awareness NAPA VALLEY Karrington Vineyard s is adding a new Pinot Grigio wine, Gratuit, to their extensive collection of prestigious wines, with all proceeds from each sale going to the American Cancer society. The launch of Gratuit takes place on September 10 th at the Karrington Vineyard Winery in Napa. The goal of Gratuit is to raise awareness for cancer. Gratuit is going to become the signature wine for Karrington Vineyards. Those who enjoy wine are invited to attend the launch event for Gratuit and sample the new wine. Gratuit is the first of the Karrington Vineyards wines to donate all of its proceeds to a cause. Every member of the Karrington Vineyards company has been working on this wine for months to make sure it s perfect. Gratuit is the first of it s kind for Karrington Vineyards. We wanted to make a wine that could be enjoyable and make a statement by supporting a foundation in need, stated founder, Roxy Evans. This could potentially lead to more opportunities for Karrington Vineyards to work with other causes. The launch event of Gratuit starts at $50 per person.
