5 C H AMPAGNE CH ARPENTIER Charpentier has been making champagne in the Marne Valley for eight generations, since They are proud of their terrior and their hillside vineyards which have permitted them to farm their vines using sustainable viticultural methods. Their wines have won many medals and are often cited in wine guides. 6 C H AMPAGNE H. BLIN Champagne H Blin is located on the Champagne Route in the village of Vincelles. It was in the years between the two great wars that Henri Blin and 28 other enterprising growers joined forces and created 120 hectares of vineyards. Their wines are predominantly Pinot Meunier, quality and consistency are at the forefront of their business. 7 H ENRI MAIRE Located in the Jura (in between Switzerland & France) since 1632, with over 250 hectares of vines Henri Maire is the largest domain in the Jura region. Henri Maire is the creator of the famous Vin Fou. The domain is steeped in history and linked to the scientist Louis Pasteur and his experiments on grape fermentation. 8 LES DOMAINES PAUL MAS Domaine de Martinolles was owned by the Vergnes family from 1926 until 2011 when the estate was sold to the native Languedoc vigneron, Jean Claude Mas. The property consists of 80 hectares of vines (and 2 hectares of Olive trees). The vineyards lie on the same hillsides that the monks of St. Hilaire cultivated in 1531 when they produced the world s first sparkling wine. The vines are planted in chalky soils without herbicides or fertilizers. The domain is a member of Terra Vitis, an organization that endorses the use of sustainable agriculture. 9 S I GNÉ VIGNERONS L Union Signé Vignerons was created in 2012 and distributes wine for its members, Cave des Coteaux du Lyonnais, Cave des Vignerons Foréziens, Signé Vignerons. It therefore has a large production of Coteaux du Lyonnais, Côtes du Forez and Beaujolais wines. They sell their wines all over France and internationally, and want to expand. 10 SVM Société des Vins Mousseux was founded in 1906 by the Chaverou family and specializes in the production of sparkling wines, with underground cellars on the Right Bank and a production site in Bordeaux. In 2011 SVM became part of Holding Borie-Casteja Animation Participation, which brings together many wine merchants as well as prestigious wine making establishments. 11 W I NE PARTNERS The Château de Fontenille situated on the gravelly terroir of Entre-Deux-Mers is a historic location. Documents found dating back to 1290 make reference to the vines in this area. Stéphanie Defraine took over the château in 1989 with an aim to increase quality. Experience, passion and investment have helped her achieve her goals. Gold and Silver medals have been awarded at various European competitions along with high praise in the sector s press.
