However, we were le to evlute the effectiveness of the fungicide tretments in controlling red spot or lotch (Figure 1), which is cused y ldosporium peonie. The ANOVA nlysis of dt in this test indicte tht there ws significnt (P< <0.05) tretment effect on the severity of red spot tht developed on leves. Averge tretmentt severity rnged from 0. to 5.5. All of the tretments, except Medllion,, hipco 6019, SP770 nd reduced the severity of diseses compred to the nontreted check (Tle ). Torque, Pgent, Disrm, Dconil WetherStik, Kocide, Trinity, Plldium, nd SP773 were the most effective mterils tested. Kocide nd Dconil Wether Stik were the only products tht resulted in visile residues on the plnts (Tle ). ompred to the nontreted checks, none of the tretments hd ny effect on overll vigor off the plnts in this tril (Tle 3). The plnting is 4yerold mixed peony plnting with field rows spced 5 prt nd 850 long. Plnts re spced on centers. This tril consisted of 17 tretments with 5 replictions. Ech repliction ws 15 long nd contined 4 to 5 plnts or crowns per plnting cell. Weeds weree initilly controlled with spot ppliction of % Rnger Pro solution on Mrch 19, 013 using Solo ckpck spryer equipped with 800 TeeJet nozzle. Susequent weed mngement ws done y hnd cultivting or with trctor. The first fungicide ppliction ws mde on Mrch, 013 nd the lst ppliction ws mde on June 17,, 013 (see Tle 1 for specific intervls nd dtes). Fungicides were pplied with O spryer t 15 psi in 100 gllons of wter. Spryer ws equipped n 800 TeeJet nozzle. Plnts were spryed to the point of drip. A nontreted check ws included in ech lock nd disese development ws the result of nturlly occurring inoculum in the field. On verge ech plnt received 50 mls of fungicide solution per ppliction. Finl disese severity dt ws collected onn July, 013.

On July, 103 dt were collected on ldosporium red spot, irregulr shped Botrytis lef lesions nd Botrytis shoot light, visile fungicide residue, plnt vigor, nd overll plnt helth which included plnt color. Rting Scles were s follows: Red spot severity ws rted on scle of 010 where : 0 = none, 1 = 110% %, = 110%, 10 = 91100% plnt covered with purple spots nd lesions. Irregulr shped Botrytis lef lesions were rted onn scle of 010 where: 0 = none, 1 = 110%, = 110%, 10 = 91100% plnt covered with symptom. Shoot light ws rted on scle of 010 where: 0 = none, 1 = 110%, = 110%, 10 = % of the shoots on the plnts exhiited symptoms of Botrytis shoot dieck. Visile fungicide residues were rted on scle off 03 where: 0 = none, 1 = slight, = moderte, 3 = severe fungicide residue evident. Vigor ws rted on scle of 13 where: 1 = plntt < 1" tll, = plnt 1" "5" tll, 3 = plnt > 5" tll Isoltions from symptomtic plnt tissue were collected throughout the tril. Red lef spot, which is cused y ldosporium peonie ws the most prevlent disese tht developed during this tril. Both Botrytis peonie nd Botrytis cineri were recovered from folige with irregulr shped tncolored lef lesions nd shoots tht exhiited light/dieck symptoms.
