2 About Us AS THE newest addition to the Pig N Whistle family, West End is a modern and on-trend bar and restaurant. The venue s location is a cultural junction situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD, nestled in prime real-estate between South Brisbane and West End. The venue is only a stone s throw from Brisbane s iconic South Bank where festivals and events take place year round, and the CBD is a short and enjoyable walk across Brisbane river. Boasting refined yet affordable dining options, the menu consists of a diverse range of dishes inspired by the world. Infusing a subtle British twist, customers can expect flavoursome and hearty meals that are guaranteed to satisfy even the most selective of palates. Eclectic flavours and ingredients are abundant and our chefs are from all walks of life, bringing with them unique experiences and techniques. These are effortlessly translated through to each dish that leaves the kitchen. Pig N Whistle West End boasts several expansive function spaces that together cover an area of approximately 750 square metres. These spaces are available to hire collectively or separately, and our Function Manager works diligently to ensure that the space is as intimate or as exposed as they wish. The venue provides live music every day of the week and live sport is a main attraction. Hosts can take the opportunity to hire a venue they know will provide a relaxing yet lively atmosphere, where their guests will be comfortable. The Pig N Whistle objective is to create memorable functions, crafted from tasty and high-quality food, a premium beverage offering and first-class service. The West End Function Managers are professional, friendly, passionate and skilled in the area of Event Management. With ongoing training and support, they work with parties of all sizes, budgets, dietary requirements and thrive on delivering outstanding events.

3 Food Philosophy THE PHILOSOPHY behind Pig N Whistle s outstanding food offering is a simple one. Every ingredient served in dishes at Pig N Whistle are of the highest quality, and are key for creating dishes that taste and look impeccable. The strong relationship that Pig N Whistle and its local suppliers have cultivated is to be reckoned with. To ensure premium quality is preserved, our Executive Chef and his team work closely with farmers and suppliers from all over Australia. They continuously strive to source the best products available and curate menus according to seasonal produce. Weekly trips to fruit and vegetable markets are frequent, making certain that customers are being served only the very best of local produce. The company owns two of their own farms, distinguishing its processes from competitors. Pig N Whistle owns land in regional New South Wales that is home to a herd of Wagyu cows. For all other beef supplies, proud partnerships exist with several of Australia s most trusted breeders. Additionally, Pig N Whistle own a farm in Brisbane s western suburb of Pullenvale where organic herbs, spices, kaffir limes and other fruits are plentiful. Ever-evolving menus mean that Executive Chef, Deniz Coskun, and his team are continuously discovering new ways to improve the brand s supply chain and service delivery. With over a decade of experience in catering, Deniz has worked on private and intimate events of 20 people, as well as weddings and large corporate events of The team at Pig N Whistle West End work collaboratively to design menus that fit the West End décor and ambience perfectly.

4 Private Function Spaces GARDEN BAR PAX The Garden Bar is an outdoor Beer Garden that offers a vibrant and green sanctuary in the midst of South Brisbane. Luscious, five metre high vertical gardens create a beautiful aesthetic that many passers by stop to admire. With convenient access to the inside bar and entertainment, the Garden Bar is a highly sought after function space for any occasion. LANEWAY TERRACE PAX The Laneway Terrace is West End s most expansive function space, with its location in perfect earshot of live music that is performed every night of the week. A buzzing atmosphere is sensed endlessly in the Laneway Terrace, providing hosts and their guests a wonderful harmonic backdrop.

5 Private Function Spaces LIVING ROOM PAX Amidst the liveliness of the main bar sits the Living Room, a spacious area to hold functions of all varieties. With two 70- inch screens sitting side by side, hosts can take the opportunity to watch live sporting matches or instead play their own videos and slideshows with a microphone and speaker. The Living Room is a relaxed and comfortable yet sophisticated space. FUNCTION HALL BOOKINGS OF PAX The Function Hall is an exclusive space ideal for stand-up events or celebrations. It features its own indoor and outdoor areas, private bar and kitchen, offering hosts and their guests complete privacy. Warm, modern interiors and furnishings allow for an intimate setting that will create a memorable function for guests to remember.

11 Terms & Conditions To confirm your function booking please read through the following terms and conditions and complete by signing below. BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT Function areas are subject to availability so be sure to book your event in advance to ensure that your desired function area and date are available. A tentative booking will (on request) be held for a maximum period of seven (7) days. To confirm your function, a deposit is required (20% of the minimum food and beverage spend) as well as a signed booking form and a credit card authorisation form. Once both the deposit and confirmation form have been received your booking will be confirmed. FINAL DETAILS AND GUEST NUMBERS So we can effectively organise your event, our functions team will require the confirmed final details, menu, beverage selection and a update of numbers in writing one week prior to the event. Tentative numbers are also required ten days prior. Final numbers and any outstanding details required for your function coordinator are required five days prior to your event. CANCELLATIONS We appreciate that circumstances may occur, which could make it necessary for a function to be cancelled. In all instances written notice is required and the following deposit conditions will apply: - 30 days or more full deposit refunded - 14 days 30 days 50% of deposit refunded - 4 days 14 days deposit kept by venue - Less than 4 days client will incur full minimum food and beverage spend charge ROOM ASSIGNMENT Pig N Whistle reserves the right to change the assigned room for a function in the event that the room assigned becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside of the Pig N Whistle s control. Pig N Whistle cannot be held accountable for changes in weather. We will do our utmost to accommodate your function, however should space not present itself, please be aware that a private area may not be available. DRESS STANDARDS Dress standards do apply. Please contact Pig N Whistle with any enquiries. IDENTIFICATION REGULATIONS Current Government regulations apply for all functions. The regulation states that a current Australian State or Territory issued Drivers License (with a photograph), 18 Plus Card or current Australian or International Passport are the only valid forms of identification accepted to enter the licensed premises and purchase liquor or tobacco. RESPONSIBLE ADULTS AND MINORS Those unable to present identification or those under the age of 18 years are welcome to attend a function under the following strict regulations. Minors must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. A responsible adult accountable for supervising a minor is defined by Liquor Act 1992 as a parent, step-parent, guardian or other adult who has parental responsibility for the minor whilst they are on licensed premises. Minors or those without I.D MUST NOT consume any form of alcoholic beverages or tobacco OR APPROACH THE BAR. Minors or those without I.D are not permitted outside of the function area. LOSS OR DAMAGE OF GOODS Pig N Whistle will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal property or company belongings, goods left or stored on the premises prior to, during or after the function. SURCHARGES A surcharge may apply for Public Holidays, Sundays or for functions after 12 midnight. Any surcharge will be advised prior to the event commencing. FINAL PAYMENT Once your final numbers have been received, a tax invoice will be issued with your expected outstanding payment. This amount is required three days prior to your event. Any additional charges incurred between this time and throughout the duration of your event will be charged on conclusion of the event. All payments will be authorised with the client prior to being processed. Payment options include: credit card, cash or direct debit. No cheques will be accepted. PATRON CARE Our obligations under the liquor act state that we are not permitted to serve or continue service of alcohol to patrons, who in our opinion are intoxicated. Management reserves the right to exercise regulatory conditions at any time during a function if it is believed that the alcohol consumption rate is excessive.
