8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Considerations General Information and Policies Food and Beverage must be purchased and served by the Hotel. Please contact our Event Specialist staff for customization of the menu for your meeting or special event. Menu pricing is subject to change without notice. Some minimums on lunch and dinner may apply. Guarantees In order to make your event a success, please confirm the number of attendees 5 business days prior to your event. The expected number will be used as the final guarantee number if we do not receive any communication within that time frame. Service Charges & Taxes The Conference Rooms will be subject to 13% hotel tax and 22% service charge. The food, beverage and Audio Visual will be subject to 8.25% sales tax. The food and beverages are priced per person unless unless marked otherwise with a minimum of 22% gratuity. Tax Exempt The State of Texas requires a completed Hotel tax exempt form prior to arrival. If this form is not received and verified before arrival, the organization will not be put on exempt status and must file a return with the State of Texas in order to receive a refund.
