9 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION General Information and Policies Food and beverage must be purchased and served by the hotel. Catering will be set up through the Sales Department and will be provided by an outside caterer. Menu pricing is subject to change. A taxable service charge of 18% and applicable CT sales tax will be added to all food, beverage, meeting room rental and audio visual charges. Guarantees In order to make your meeting a success, please confirm your guaranteed number of guests 3 business days prior to your event. The expected number will act as the final guaranteed number if the guaranteed number is not received. Cancellation Policy Any rooms or meeting space that is committed shall be considered a binding agreement and guaranteed by the client. If group cancels 14 days prior to arrival date, client shall pay a termination fee equal to 100% of anticipated revenue. Shipping If shipping materials to the hotel, please include the company/group name, event manager and date of meeting on the outside of the package. The hotel cannot assume responsibility for any damages or loss of merchandise sent for storage
