12 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION All food and beverage served at the Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Washington Meadow Lands must be supplied and provided by the hotel. Printed menus are for general reference. Our event staff be happy to customize menus to meet your specific needs. All prices are subject to change. All prices are subject to a 6% sales tax and a 20% taxable service charge. Alcoholic beverages are subject to a 6% Pennsylvania State tax. Final guaranteed attendance for all food and beverage functions must be made and received by the sales team 72 hours prior to the event. This guaranteed attendance number is not subject to reduction after the 72 hours deadline and is the minimum number of persons for which you will be charged. If we do not receive a final guaranteed figure for your food and beverage event by the 72 hour deadline, your organization will be charged for the number of persons denoted in the event contract. We will be prepared to serve not more than 5% over the final guaranteed attendance specified. Payment is due 72 hours prior to the event. Hotel's liquor license required that hotel employees or bartenders only disperse beverages. Alcoholic beverage service will be denied to those guests who appear to be intoxicated or are under age. Shipping: If shipping materials to the hotel, please include the company/group name, event manager and date of meeting to the outside of the package. The hotel can not assume responsibility for the damage or loss of merchandise sent for storage.
