19 Logistics We hope this information will be helpful in answering any questions that may arise when planning for your event. SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX All prices are subject to a 20% service charge. A 6% Maryland Sales Tax will be added to food, and a 9% Maryland State Liquor tax will be added to beverages in addition to other applicable charges. GUARANTEE Your final guaranteed guest count is due fourteen (14) business days before your event. This number is considered your guarantee and may not be reduced PAYMENT A non-refundable deposit is required to secure an event. Ninety (90) days prior to the event date we require a 50% deposit of the estimated bill. A full payment by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover), cash or check is necessary fourteen (14) business days prior to the function date. OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE No food or alcoholic beverages may be brought into the banquet facilities as the Rod N Reel Restaurant exclusively provides this service. The restaurant cannot permit any food or beverage to be taken from the banquet facilities in accordance with health and sanitation policies.
