Our facility can offer our famous family-style Threshers Dinner for delicious luncheons, professional musical productions, private meeting rooms of various sizes with retail shops and lodging, all in a beautiful and peaceful country setting, comfortable and intimate, matched by no other. Listed in The National Register of Historic Places, is an 80-acre historic resort in, dedicated to honoring the Amish way of life through historic interpretation. Visitors can enjoy tractor-drawn wagon and guided tours, learning the whys and ways of Amish life on the historic farm. Your group will have access to two country cozy inns, which include complimentary continental breakfast with your stay. The meeting rooms at can be reserved for seminars, board meetings, retreats, church gatherings, family reunions, conferences and trade shows. Our professional staff can supply your corporation or group with a variety of electronic equipment such as VCR, DVD, PowerPoint, TV, wireless Internet access, hardwire and wireless microphones, podium, spotlights, piano, stages, FAX machine, copy machine, flip charts, overhead projector and screens. 2 Conference Accommodations meeting rooms can be reserved for seminars, board meetings, retreats, church gatherings, family reunions, conferences, and trade shows. Please note the following capacity listings are based on a served or buffet style meal with guests seated at tables in regular dining fashion. Different seating arrangements such as classroom style or theatre style may change each room's capacity. When using Historic Farm for multi-purpose seminars and conferences, room rental fees may be reduced when a served meal or buffet service is included for a group guaranteed at 50 people or more. Snacks, beverages, and hospitality bar service are also available for an extra fee. Special room set-ups may incur an additional fee, however AV equipment is available at no additional charge. No outside food vendor is permitted at. 7 Traditional Amish Haystack History The Amish often host fund-raisers to help families pay for unexpected hospital bills or other needs. The Haystack Meal originated for this type of event because families could donate vegetables grown in their gardens and beef raised on their farms without having to purchase many ingredients. The goal is to create a haystack shape by layering the ingredients into a hearty blend of flavors and textures. Menu Create your own Haystack by layering cracker crumbs, rice, seasoned ground beef, lettuce, celery, mild sauce, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, green peppers and nacho chips and top it all off with our delicious cheese sauce.
