Welcome to the 17th Plough Beer Festival. This festival s theme is World Hop Tour ; a round up of UK ales brewed with a huge variety of hops from around the world. Now, at the last beer festival, this theme seemed like a splendid idea- we had literally no idea how long it would take to compile the list! After much gnashing of teeth, pulling of hair and quite a bit of harrassing brewers, we re delighted to present a list that also features ales with hopping from 11 countries, a rare vintage brew, and even a gin and tonic inspired ale courtesy of those clever award-winning chaps at Nene Valley Brewery. The majority (24) of the ales are on the cash-only ale bar, with the rest on the usual main bar. We offer a cashback service there too, as well as menus if you re hungry. You ll find each ales location (either on the ale or main bar) in the tasting notes. Navigate your way round the beers using the map, which pinpoints the country of each ale s hopping. The beers are then numbered, but also displayed in order of ABV from lightest to strongest. To please the ears as well as the tastebuds, there s 8 amazing bands over 5 days. From folk to pop, rockabilly to punk, indie to chilled out acoustic sets, we re pretty sure there s something for everyone. On Easter Monday from 3pm until close, any stillage ales left will be 2.50 per pint. Have fun, enjoy and thank you for supporting the festival. Cheers! Kate Festival Organiser OPENING HOURS AT THE FESTIVAL Thursday 24th March Good Friday 25th March Saturday 26th March Easter Sunday 27th March Easter Monday 28th March 12pm to 11:30pm 12pm to 12am 12pm to 12am 12pm to 11pm 12pm to 10:30pm Children (under 16) welcome at the festival in the bar side until 9pm only please.
