What We Offer Cakes and Cupcakes Our sweet creations are made to order and made with quality ingredients, including pure Madagascar vanilla extract.

Cookies Our soft sugar cookies are made from real butter and Madagascar vanilla. They are decorated with our special icing that melts in your mouth!

Cake Pops Our cake pops combine cake and buttercream into delicious bite-sized treats! Each cake truffle/pop is dipped in chocolate and decorated for your special event. Whether you re a beginner or a well-seasoned cake decorator/baker, you will enjoy our 1-2hr classes that provide individual instruction to help you re-create some of our unique sweets! Rolled Fondant We only use Satin Ice Fondant, which is a premium, marshmallowbased fondant that produces a quality, elegant looking cake. It has a smooth texture and creamy vanilla flavor; the chocolate fondant tastes like a tootsie roll! 5 Decorating Classes Simply Sweet Creations is a nut-free bakery, specializing in uniquelydesigned sweets such as fondant cakes and cupcakes, gourmet cookies, and cake pops. Our decorating classes are a fun way to learn how to make our unique creations! Various decorating classes are available, some are seasonal, but all are fun and educational. Check the Calendar on our website for a current schedule of classes and open dates for private parties. In order to provide the best experience possible, our classes are divided into three different age groups: 4-6 year olds, 7-14, and adults. The suggested ages are listed under each class on our calendar. Cake Decorating Classes Buttercream cake class = $45 per person (1.5-2hrs) Learn how to pipe borders, rosettes, beads, stars, and the like. Fondant cake class = $60 per person (2hrs) Learn how to color, roll and decorate a cake with fondant. All our cake decorating classes include a 6 cake and the supplies needed to decorate your cake. Our instructor will demonstrate the techniques and provide individual instruction to help you along the way. You ll learn how to crumb coat, frost, and decorate a cake with several techniques to achieve a unique design for that class. We offer seasonal designs for the holidays as well as others that are great year-round, like our Fondant Minion Class! Cupcake Decorating Classes Fondant cupcake class = $35 per person (1-1.5hrs) Learn how to color, roll and decorate cupcakes with fondant. We provide 6 freshly-made cupcakes and all the supplies needed to decorate your cupcakes. Our instructor will demonstrate the techniques and provide individual instruction to help you along the way. What do you need to bring? Nothing, just your imagination! A box/container will be provided at the end of class to take your creation home! Please arrive 15 min prior to the start of class so you can sign in, settle in and wash your hands so we can begin promptly. Just bring comfortable attire/shoes and be ready to have some fun! Page 3

6 Decorating Class Parties! Let Simply Sweet Creations handle the mess and stress of hosting your next party! It s the perfect place to celebrate birthdays, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, scout troop events, and corporate events. We setup and cleanup so you can enjoy your guests and the delicious treats you re decorating. We ll even help you setup additional food and beverages for your guests, if you choose to bring them. Just drop off the items before the party and we ll set it up so you and your guests can enjoy the food/beverages before and after class. Our space can accommodate parties of up to 10 guests. Adults are welcome to BYOB!! Our party packages can be customized to fit your needs or let us create a unique package for you! 1. Cake decorating: $35/guest, minimum of 6 guests Package includes a decorated complimentary 6 cake for party host. Party is 2 hours long. Each guest will receive a 6 cake to decorate and all the supplies needed. Guests will learn the art of: coloring and preparing frosting, crumb coating, frosting, piping simple borders, flowers, and designs. They will each take home a beautifully decorated cake! Fondant parties are also available upon request, packages start at $50 per guest, minimum of 6 guests. Students LOVE this class! Guests will learn how to work with fondant to create many fun fondant items for their cakes!! They will even get to use a fondant sheeter, just like the decorating shows on TV! 2. Cupcake decorating: $30/guest, minimum of 6 guests Package includes 6 complimentary cupcakes for the party host. Party is 1.5 hours long. Each guest will receive 6 cupcakes to decorate. Learn how to frost and make your cupcakes, making several unique cupcake designs. 3. Cake pop decorating. $25/guest, minimum of 6 guests Package includes 6 complimentary cupcakes for the party host. Party is 1.5hrs long. Students will make the cake pop mixture out of pre-made cake and assemble them. We ll show you the tricks to the perfect cake pop, including melting the chocolate, dipping them, and decorating them with sprinkles, toppings, or fondant details (for an additional $5/guest). 7 All party packages include: Use of all equipment, icing and decorations necessary to decorate in class, as well as containers/boxes to take your creations home. Use of Simply Sweet s space for 2 hours. Class length depends on guest s age, usually between 1-2 hours. Complimentary birthday cake is decorated with buttercream, fondant polka dots and the birthday child s age. Your choice of chocolate or vanilla cake with buttercream icing and filling. Serves 6-10 people. We ll provide plates and utensils to cut serve and eat cake. Gluten free cakes are available upon request for an additional fee. Complimentary cupcake s are chosen by the party host at the end of the party, from a variety we have on hand that day. Simply Sweet is BYOB. Complimentary coffee, tea and water are provided. Any additional food brought in is the client s responsibility. Private Party Policies A $100 deposit is required upon booking to reserve the date. This is a non-refundable deposit that will be credited towards final balance. Final head count is due seven (7) days prior to event. Client is responsible for disclosing any food allergies and/or special requests seven (7) days prior to event. Client is responsible for all outside food brought in, as well as necessary paper goods for serving and/or eating said food. Plates, utensils etc. will be provided for birthday cake/cupcakes compliments of Simply Sweet. The remaining balance is due and payable upon conclusion of event. Gratuity for Instructors is optional and not included in final balance. Page 5

9 Weddings We know planning a wedding can be stressful, but designing your wedding shouldn t be! Our wedding cake consultation and tasting will guide you in selecting a cake that suits your style and budget. Contact Us us (Adriana@simplysweetonline.com) to schedule an initial consultation and tasting, when we ll discuss your overall budget, wedding theme/colors, location, design preferences/ideas, etc. Design Consultation and Tasting Your consultation is the most fun because you ll get to try flavor/filling combinations and see some design options we prepared for you based on feedback from our initial discussion. There is a $25 fee for tastings, which includes 3-4 different cake/filling combinations. The amount paid for this tasting will be applied towards your wedding order, should you decide to book with us. When you re ready to order your wedding cake, a non-refundable deposit is required. There are several payment options, which we will discuss during our consultation. 10 Cake Cutting Guide In order to get the most number of servings, we recommend using a straight line method to cut all cakes, even the round ones! Doing so will also make for a neat and consistent serving presentation. Check out this link for step-by-step picture instructions on cutting a round cake! Tip: A quick way to measure 1 and 2 is to use your fingers! Bend your thumb and measure from the tip to your knuckle it is about 1. From the tip to the base of your pointer finger is about 2. Page 8

12 Frequently Asked Questions How do I place an order? Complete the Order Request Form, call ( ) during normal business hours, or us at Adriana@simplysweetonline.com. Please provide the following information: Event Date Pickup / Delivery (location info) Number of guests you re expecting along with party theme and any design ideas you may have Flavor/Filling preferences Allergy restrictions or other special requests With this information, we can create a custom Order Form for your event and it to you (PDF), which will include detailed pricing. In order to confirm/book your order, we ll need a signed Order Form faxed/ ed back and a 50% deposit made via credit/debit card on our website. Where are you located? Do you deliver? Our NEW Cake Shop is located at 5712 w. 95 th Street in Oak Lawn, IL. We re on the north side of 95 th street, across from Frankie s Beef and next to a State Farm office. Delivery starts at $35 within 20mi; additional $15 setup fee applies to all sweet tables, cupcakes towers, and weddings. What are your store hours? Stop by for fresh cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies! Or pickup a small decorated fondant cake for your next event! For larger/custom orders, please place order at least 1 week in advance. Sunday to Wednesday Closed; by appointment only Thursday and Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm We are also open for specific classes, please refer to class schedule/calendar. What payment methods do you accept? A deposit is required to place your order. We also accept cash and credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Discover) at our shop. What flavor combinations do you recommend? Our most popular combinations are: vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream or banana cake with strawberry or dulce de leche buttercream for a unique twist! Do you offer other flavors/fillings not on your menu, including gluten-free cakes? Other cake flavors/fillings may be available upon request.
