1 General Conditions Each client must agree to conduct their function in an orderly manner and to comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules. Damage to Property The client assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all people in attendance and for any damage done to any part of the property. Emerald Ridge reserves the right to assess charges for damages incurred due to the misuse or abuse of equipment and / or facility for damages or loss of equipment, merchandise or articles left on the premises. Entertainment The party booking the event is responsible for hiring their own band or DJ. Either must stop playing by 12:30 a.m. or later with approval. Please be sure to communicate any set-up requirements they will need. Emerald Ridge reserves the right to monitor and adjust sound levels as deemed appropriate. Decorating Emerald Ridge provides table linens, skirting for head table, cake table, punch table and gift table. All other decorations are your own responsibility and must be pre-approved. If you are providing candles, please be sure that there is no open flame and that they are in a stable holder. You may use scotch tape, masking tape or light wire. Emerald Ridge reserves the right to charge an appropriate fee if there is any damage to the facility or if extra clean-up is required. Access to event facility for decorating is based on availability before the event and must be coordinated with the Event Coordinator. Renting the Emerald Ridge House The house may be rented at a discounted rate of $20.00 per person per night with the renting of the facility. Financial Arrangements An initial non-refundable deposit of $ is due when the reservation is made to secure a date. To assist with your budgeting, we will work out a payment schedule for the balance. The payment for final meal counts is due 7 business days before the event when you confirm the guaranteed meal count. Charges for additional people, beverages and other incidentals will be due right after the function has ended. General Conditions

2 Accommodations We are ideally located with easy access, just 6 miles off of I-94 (Exit 45). Emerald Ridge has it all under one roof! With over 4,000 square feet of space, Emerald Ridge can accommodate up to 300 plus people for weddings, banquets, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, or class reunions. We will work with you on any event that requires special attention make it a memorable one! The five bedroom house has a variety of different beds and different themes. Relax by the river where the Elk drink, in our two twin bed room. Take a walk through the forest and watch deer graze, in another two twin bed room. Lie in the field and bask in the sun as the Labradors meander around you in our luxurious bedroom fit with two full beds. The fully finished downstairs is outfitted with two bedrooms to include two queen beds in the first room and what we call the family room with one full, a twin and a bunk bed. Getting ready to go out on the town, our lodge is equipped with two bathrooms and three showers along with wash machine and dryer for your convenience. The Greater Menomonie area offers a variety of places to eat as well as historical museums, night life, entertainment, and shopping. Visit some of the most beautiful seasonal recreational facilities around. Our lodge is fully furnished with dinner ware, pots and pans, utensils, cutlery, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove, toaster, and complimentary coffee, tea, and sugar as well as assorted spices, linens, towels and toiletries, extra blankets, an additional cot, poker tables, dry bar available your use, and limited bottled water and soda. There is ample parking for all size vehicles to include RV s with electric hookup. There is also a bonfire area for your relaxation. For your guests, the closest motel is at Exit 45 off of I-94, The Quality Inn & Suites hotel is ideally located just six miles from Emerald Ridge. 3 Beverages & Rental Items Bar and Liquor Arrangements The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is regulated by the State of Wisconsin. Emerald Ridge currently is not licensed by the state; therefore your party must be BYOB. Soda Bar & Water Soda bar Set-up charge is $50.00 with $ guaranteed minimum sales per bartender. For host soda bar arrangements, one tab, calculated on a consumption basis, will be paid by host at the end of the event. Ticket exchange bars are available upon request. The soda bar closes at 11:00 p.m. Drink prices include tax. Non-Alcoholic Beer, Juice, Soda and Bottled water may be purchased from Emerald Ridge. Non-Alcoholic Beer, Juice, Soda and Bottled Water may not be brought into Emerald Ridge from outside sources. We also offer Sprecher Root beer on tap, available upon request. If you do not see what you are looking for on the menu, please ask. We would be happy to explore special food arrangements with you. All prices are subject to sales tax and gratuity. Confirmation on all meals regarding number of guests must be made seven business days in advance of the event. After that time only increases will be accepted. All charges will be based upon the guaranteed number provided or the actual number of people served, whichever is greater.
