9 CUBAN BAR AND RESTAURANT D.C. Berridge LLC Jeffrey Best and Kenneth Jones founded D. C. Berridge, LLC ( Berridge ) in 1994 to own and operate bars and restaurants, manage large scale events, and provide food and beverage industry consulting services. Berridge is the owner and operator of Habana bar and restaurant in Costa Mesa which was first on a year-end top ten list regarding the best restaurant happenings of 1995 according to the Orange County Register. Berridge also developed the diner National Café in Culver City, and nightclub restaurant Lucky Seven in Hollywood, later redeveloped as nightclub tavern Daddy s. In 2002, Berridge opened Firefly, an upscale restaurant on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. In 2004, Berridge acquired the existing tavern business of Power House in Hollywood, nightclub restaurant Club Lingerie in Hollywood which was redeveloped as The Warwick in 2013, Thunderbird in North Hollywood which was redeveloped as Polynesian bar Tiki No in 2010, and Shooters in Costa Mesa which was redeveloped as Mesa in Berridge redeveloped a tavern on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles in 2008 to be restaurant The Dark Room. Both Mesa and Firefly have been favorably reviewed by lead Los Angeles Times food critic Irene Virbila, and Mesa was named the best new restaurant of 2008 in Orange County by Riviera Magazine. Berridge also holds a minority equity interest in The Bungalow in Santa Monica, and Providence restaurant in Los Angeles. Berridge has acted as a consultant and advisor providing food and beverage related services in the areas of financial structuring, construction management, kitchen and space planning, governmental compliance, operational staffing, operational management controls and menu design, to clients including the Bungalow, Billy s at the Beach, Olive, Swingers, Chateau Marmont Hotel, Hollywood Athletic Club, and Viper Room while owned by Johnny Depp. Under it s operating division Best Events, Berridge is a prominent manager of large scale private and social events worldwide for clients including Madonna, Bono, Johnny Depp, Tesla, Ashton Kutcher, Space X, Hollister, The Art of Elysium, Samsung, Stella Artois, McDonalds, CNN, the Los Angeles Times, the Weinstein Company, Microsoft, General Motors, Sony, Toshiba, William Morris Agency, Ford Models, Time Warner Bros., Kaufman and Broad, Rolex, Creative Artists Agency, Virgin Records and most major motion picture production companies including Disney, Miramax, Paramount, Universal, DreamWorks and others.

10 CUBAN BAR AND RESTAURANT JEFFREY BEST PRINCIPAL Jeffrey Best has been involved in all operating aspects of the bar and restaurant business for the previous 35 years. Early in his career, he performed functions as a Waiter, Service Bar Manager, Head Waiter, Bar Manager, and Kitchen Manager at numerous Los Angeles restaurants. Prior to cofounding Berridge, he served as Manager of the The Grill in Beverly Hills, Trumps in West Hollywood, General Manager of Brentwood Bar and Grill in Brentwood, and the fine dining restaurant at the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank. Mr. Best attended Pepperdine University and majored in business administration. KENNETH JONES PRINCIPAL Kenneth Jones formerly served as executive vice president of Wallace Moir Properties in Beverly Hills where he oversaw the acquisition, debt and equity financing, and asset management of multifamily residential, retail, office & industrial real estate properties. Mr. Jones also served as vice president of development for Amir Development Company in Beverly Hills, and real estate acquisition analyst for Urban Pacific Development Corporation and Kaufman and Broad. During his career, he was involved in the acquisition, development, financing & asset management of properties collectively having a value of approximately $1.3 Billion. Mr. Jones graduated from UCLA with a B.A. degree in economics.

The design & décor will embrace similar design directions, but with more substantial and refined execution. Finished surfaces, decorations, & furnishings will include vintage artifacts, curated design elements, reclaimed materials, and authentic items from abroad. Habana at Irvine Spectrum will contain approximately 9,500 square feet of patio and interior area, allowing a greater emphasis on an expanded bar business and bakery program.
