3 APPLE Poland is the biggest apple producer in Europe with the total production of about 3.5 million tons. Apple orchards cover a surface of about 200 thousand ha and are located in the central, southern and western part of the country. Poland is the geographical region with the highest export volume of apples reaching 1200 thousand tons in 2013 worth 450 mln euro. Polish apples grow in favourable climate and soil conditions therefore at the time of harvest they are firm and juicy. The fruits delicious taste and nutritious value makes the goods very attractive for the final consumer. Polish apples are available all year round due to the good moment of harvest and controlled atmosphere storage where temperature, oxygen and carbon dioxide are precisely stored. We constantly improve our harvesting methods, sorting and packing facilities and the quality control process to guarantee that the end process results in best quality fruit of exceptional taste. 4 PLUM The production of plums in Poland reaches 200 thousand ton annually. Plumes provide the body with a lot of minerals, vitamins and pectin. Plums are characterized by the fact that they can be processed for stewed fruit, jam or dried fruit. The most fruits are eaten fresh. 5 BLUE BERRY The worldwide production of blueberry is estimated at around 100 thousand tons of fresh fruits harvested on 30 thousand ha. Polish plantations of blueberry cover around 1500 ha and reach to 20 thousand tons yearly what makes Poland the uncompetitive leader in Europe as for blueberry production. The fields are located mainly in the north and central part of Poland where the climate and soil are very favourable to its cultivation. The plantations in Poland are expending with every year and the export potential is growing accordingly. There are more and more varieties of blueberries every year. Due to the environment in which the fruit is grown, blueberry is a perfect to obtain eco fruits as well. Our fresh blueberries are carefully selected, well stored and packed according to individual demand of the client. 6 TOMATO In Poland the annual production reaches around 580 thousand tons with the export of 46 thousand tons. Polish tomatoes are grown in modern glasshouses in favourable soil and temperature conditions. The production of tomatoes in Poland is concentrated in the central and western part of the country. Round and beef tomatoes cover the majority of Polish tomato production. Standard round, 57 67mm and 67 82mm and mm of tomatoes are the most popular export product, appreciated by our clients due to its unique and excellent quality and taste. As we do care about the natural growth and delicious taste of our healthy tomatoes, we make sure the Client s requirements are always met in the competitive market of fresh fruit and vegetables. 7 CAPSICUM The production of capsicum in Poland reaches 30 years old. At the beginning, the production of the vegetable was dedicated to local market only. In the last 15 years the production of capsicum in Poland rapidly expended and it has become popular product of export. The most fertile regions of production are concentrated in the central and southern part of Poland. The capsicum comes in three major colors: red, green and yellow. Some volume of orange is also available. Red capsicums cover 70% of production. White capsicum are also in demand of many markets. The pepper is grown based on Dutch seeds, mainly bought from Segenta and Rijk Zwaan. The production is entirely grown under plastic tunnels, similar which we can find in Spain. Half of the production goes for industry purpose. Only finest and good quality of capsicums are dedicated for export. Main export goes to Russia and Baltic countries as well as Western European consumers. 8 CHINESE CABBAGE The production of Chinese cabbage originated in China but the vegetables is widely grown in Poland on about 3500 ha. Chinese cabbage is available all year round due to field and undercover plantations from April till November and modern cold storages covering the winter supply. September and October is the best time for harvest of Chinese leafs in Poland because of the weather conditions favourable for production. As a result, we get the highest quality of our crop. Chinese cabbages require professional fertilization and on time harvest therefore we make sure our products are best in class. 9 WHITE CABBAGE Poland is an undoubted leader of white cabbage production with annual production of 953 thousand tons. Polish white cabbage production constitutes 5% of total worldwide white cabbage production. As for Polish vegetables, white cabbage was placed just after carrot the first Polish vegetable in terms of volume produced in The surface of the production in Poland accounts for about 30% of the total production area. White cabbage is carefully harvested and their leaves are free of any disease. The cabbage has extensive range of usage, high nutritious features, easy storage and processing stand for high popularity of this product. White cabbage is used by the consumers for salads, boiling and as a fresh or sour product.
