2 Our History: Juan Giol, Bautista Gargantini and Pascual Toso came from Europe to Argentina around and settled in Mendoza. They associated and established their first winery, being really pioneers of the Argentine wine industry. We are their direct descendents in fourth generation. Our grandparents Humberto Giol (Juan s son) and Eleonora Gargantini (Bautista s daughter) got married and in the thirties, with the same spirit of their parents, bought wineries, vineyards and also founded Bodega y Viñedos San Polo. These possessions were situated in one of the best environments for wine growing and wine making, right by the foot of the Andes Mountain range. Nowadays Alejandra Giol and Rodolfo Masera are the owners of the winery, they want to follow the same spirit of their Great-Grand father and his love for the wine industry. 2
3 WE ARE PLACED IN LA CONSULTA, UCO VALLEY, PROVINCE OF MENDOZA - ARGENTINA 3
4 At present we have 180 ha of vineyards at La Consulta (Uco Valley), a district at the foot of the Andes, between and meters above sea level, with latitude 33' degrees south; the soil is alluvial, the texture is stony, irrigated by water coming from the melting of the snow-capped high peaks and glaciers in the Andes. There is a great thermal amplitude between 8º and 35º, with the highest temperature registered during the day. The vineyards have varieties of first quality like Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Chardonnay, Syrah and Semillon, worked with high technology to produce wines of the highest quality, The essential complement to produce these superb wines, is our winery with a capacity of , 92 gallons ( liters), adapted to the latest requirements of modern technology and a team of professionals of international first level. 4
5 Honourable Mentions & Awards Great Gold Medal with Zentas Reserve 2008, Gold Medal With Zentas Grand Reserve 2006, two Silver Medal in Auka Malbec 2008 and in Don Alfonso Malbec 2006, All of this in Vinandino 2009, international Wine contest The quality of our wines is so good that they were ranked with 87 points in the red wine category by the prestigious Wine Spectator. Also, they were awarded with the Silver medal in The International Wine Challenge in Texas. Malbec 2006 and 2004 were awarded with the Bronze Medal in the Argentina Wine Award. Also, in the same Tasting, Malbec Single Vineyard was awarded with Bronze Medal. 5

With these volumes we can manage the fermentation stage very well, obtaining exciting flavors, aromas and body in our wines Our storage capacity in tanks is of lts. Underground we have 6 cellars to age the wines in barrels. We can age the wines in up to 500 oak barrels. 8
